I agree, it's like they want to act like Pricilla was the only one in Elvis life that mattered. They could've interviewed all the people that were in his circle before they passed. But what kills me is the snubbing of Billy and his family. My gosh they are family! But Pricilla doesn't want to share the spotlight. But Jerry hangs out like her lapdog!

What a nice guy Dean is. Very down to earth, honest and in no way pretentious. I had a chance to meet him and his Dad a year or so before Dr Nic died. I was eating in Marlowes, whilst on holiday from the UK. He and his Dad came in just after us and sat at a table about five yards away. I tried to be discreet by not staring at them both and really wanted to meet them both. I thought it rude to interrupt their meal and hoped that I might get lucky if they happened to leave at the same time as me. Halfway through their meal, they were swamped by people wanting autographs and photos. I never did get to meet them. Great video again by Spa Guy....thank you.

Great video! That clip of a young Dean was taken from a UK TV programme, Elvis He Touched Their Lives, hosted by David Frost. I went to Graceland with the British fan club in August 1982. Really interesting to know that his dad never got mad, but always remained calm, perhaps that's why Elvis like him so much. I saw in the video of Billy and Joe Elvis fans do matter that his mother made Elvis hamburger steaks that is just so nice, I believe if you were in Elvis' inner circle everyone treated eachother as family and even taken over eachother food habits. We who are true and diehard fans of Elvis can ALL get to that point sometimes because Elvis deserves nothing but honor and respect and he is not just a commercial piece of property. The more we can learn about the intricacies of his life and times, the more enriched we are and the better we are for it because Elvis has always been a prime example of what an exemplary human being is all about. This is not about perfection, that I speak, but about a man who has given so much and deserves nothing but the best we can give to him, in how we represent him, and in how we continue to show him respect. Dean is a respectible man, and it is lovely to hear his protective side coming to the surface. Thank you, Billy. Thank you, Dean. Great video. Awesome!

The reality is that Graceland execs want to attract non-fans more than real fans, and a large percentage of people that go to Graceland are just curious tourists visiting a landmark, not true-blue die-hard fans. Anytime you have to appeal to the masses instead of the purist, something gets lost. How Billy Smith is not part of the process - a real direct relative of Elvis who he confided and trusted - is mind-boggling. Its such a shame.

He didn't need to get married, he also didn't want to get married, he was pressured by the Colonel to do the "right thing".Elvis packed alot of living, good and bad in his short 42 years. It's to bad he was surrounded by alot of leeches. If his mom was around he would have taken better care of himself, she would have made sure of that! MAHALO KE AKUA FOR ELVIS! Hi from England At 1.01 into the video its Sir David Frost. If this clip is around 1980 then if i remember correctly he interviewed other people connected to ELVIS but its so long ago now i cannot remember who. I will have to google or see if i can find any videos from back then and see what i can find out Those few years after ELVIS died and the public visiting back then was SO DIFFERENT as its such a long time ago 40 + years Dean looks so much like his father from videos i have watched And when ELVIS died all the guys that were remaining just had their life experiences cut off. It must have been so hard to carry on with their own lives and perhaps some "normality" David Frost was interviewing Marty and Billy i have just found a video showing it 👍👍👍

"The Guy" (as a few here have pointed out) is David Frost. He was a British TV host who had a couple of high profile shows here in the US including a late night talkshow (The David Frost Show) that ran for 4 years (69-72) opposite Johnny Carson and a Sunday night variety show like Ed Sullivan in which the Beatles appeared in 68 and sang "Hey Jude" live ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5Cwm3anhtR_gqM ). He also had prime time specials where he interviewed celebrities, politicians and presidents, his most famous being "Frost/Nixon". He also famously interviewed Muhammad Ali at his training camp and Presidents Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush, plus many other famous and important people. He must have been working on a special about Elvis for either US television or the BBC during this altercation.

I just spent this past weekend with Priscilla, I am a big bruce Lee fan, and I had to talk to her about the karate relationship they had and all the people they were associated with. I asked her if she ever met bruce Lee, and she said yes, when they went to tournaments. She said she might have some photos somewhere. from my 30+years of studying, bruce Lee. i have never seen any photos/videos of her, elvis and bruce, those photos would be very valuable, because they are super rare, not to mention she left elvis for Mike Stone, they all ran in the same circle(trained together). I wonder if Chuck norris, Bob Wall, or any of them ever visited Graceland? I forgot to ask. I spent a weekend with Bob wall a few years ago. He said elvis and Priscilla used to come to his and norris School for classes, I wonder because of Priscilla's relationship with Mike Stone and the story(true or not)of elvis dating the same girl Steve mcqueen was dating, mcqueen trained with bruce lee, norris so on. I wonder if these karate guys didn't like elvis for some reason. If they were Elvis's karate instructors, you would think they would at least visit his grave or attend his funeral. But I don't think they did.
