Thank you for posting everything about E. I’ve been upset lately I’m not speaking to my sister and I found out she’s going to Graceland when her and I were speaking she knew I’m a Elvis fan and we even spoken about Elvis on multiple occasions and saw the Elvis movie together and everything and to hear she’s going to Graceland and even if we were talking I know she wouldn’t ask me to go with her. It’s heartbreaking to me bc I have a dream to wanting to go to Graceland one of these days I just hope I can make it happen. Any information you post I take it in stride and just love. I used to be Facebook friends with Dave Hebler but then he changed his settings so I could just follow his page... or maybe he had to drop some friends as it was getting too hard to manage, not sure, but I did get to ask a few questions back in the day. Plus apparently Dave shares the same political views as myself so that was cool to see. Seems like a good guy.

Wow! I always wondered what happened to Dave Hebler. This was fantastic. Besides Jerry Schilling, Dave is one of the last remaining from the inner circle. Yes, we all know that Dave co-wrote the "Elvis, what happened?" book in 77 with Sonny and Red West. Those guys were fired unceremoniously and were upset about it, they thought they were family at that point. But after 45 years people need to give a little grace. You can debate about how much of a betrayal it was all day long, that will never bring back Elvis. We should be able to forgive these men. Two of them are no longer here.

Wasn't the first story published about elvis being intoxicated, his Vegas stage rant is proof of that. Elvis was more worried About the press getting ahold of the book. Released over 2 weeks before he sadly passed. The news didn't really run with it and sales were down. I was 10yrs old Aug 16 and the book wasn't allowed in my mothers house! 😂 no real fans cared or thought is was true, It had pretty much blowed over till 8/16/77 then I guess people wanted answers.

@@SpaGuy Mr. Spa Guy. I bought and read the book the day it was put out. I did not get the impression that Red, Sonny and Dave were trying to hurt Elvis. It was a shock to read some of the stories, but I believe they wanted to help Elvis! My stance on the three of them Has really softened over the years. Red and Sonny are now dead. Dave is getting up in years. He did not back in the 70s and still today, I see no hatred toward Elvis from Dave. By the way. Dave’s book is a very worthy read. No animosity in it toward Elvis.

Not to be judgemental but three of Elvis's inner circle betrayed him and really hurt Elvis. Dave Hebler, Red and Sonny West. I'm sorry but I don't think that they wrote the book 'Elvis What Happened' to wake Elvis up and help him as they said so many times. I think it was for the money that they knew the book would supply them with cause they all knew that Elvis fans would buy it. The book just put more worry and stress on Elvis on top of everything else. Elvis loved his fans and worried about what they would think of him. All three men knew that. Still I like the stories about Elvis and appreciate hearing anything about Elvis. Thank You Spa Guy for keeping Elvis's memory alive.

Dave had some great stories and Elvis gave him two cars. So sorry he co wrote the book Elvis what happened, that caused so many stress to Elvis, it was a stab in the back Elvis told Joe Esposito. The firing though should never have happened.
