Billy is so nice and polite to everyone. I feel like if they can be rude to Billy they would be mean to anyone. Billy is one of the nicest people ever. Oh the guard is copsplaining. I hate copsplaining. It’s where they try to justify their rudeness. Yuck! I do not like rude people. Elvis would not like that at all.

It's a shame how they have changed Graceland. Lisa Marie should have appreciated her father's legacy more. I got to meet Elvis back in the 70s he was so nice and polite to me and my family. We had a family member that lived in Memphis that saw Elvis from time to time. We happen to be on vacation and touring around different places and got to meet him. People then were so nice and polite. Thank you for trying to keep his memories alive.

I went to Graceland in 03 for the first time it was awesome. It had a laid back atmosphere. Couldn’t have been a better experience. I went back in 15 and everything had changed. The good vibe that was there was gone. Most of the security team were jerks. It’s like they were waiting for you to do something so they could jump on you. And they were everywhere. You couldn’t even take a picture without a security person in it. Not the best experience.

Thank you for saving me an airline ticket I had a feeling it has become too much of a commodity so I don't think that I'm going to go I do not care for a militant atmosphere and I don't think Elvis Presley would have wanted that but he knows he is in my heart I see him as a person I don't want to see him as a commodity it hurts me that they have turning into that although I know it's important to keep Gracelyn up sometimes it's better not to know everything and not to have everything because with that you have your special discoveries in the heart and mine loving you from Tustin California

I think some of the commenters here are being a little too rough on the guard. He was just doing his job and trying to the protect the property. Seeing someone moving towards the back of the planes late at night is going to look suspicious. For all the guard knew, it could have been someone looking to vandalize the aircraft. He can't tell someone's intentions from a distance... and for all we know, one of his duties may be keeping people away from the aircraft after hours. If someone vandalized the planes at night, I'm sure we'd be hearing plenty of armchair critics complaining about how the guards didn't do their job. After the guard spoke to Billy for a while, he realized Billy didn't have bad intentions and ended up being quite sociable. But generally, guards aren't paid to be friendly. They are paid to protect things, and sometimes need to be stern in order to be effective.
@cerriberry68354 жыл бұрын

I remember back in the mid to late nineties when my friend and I would visit Memphis frequently we used to love to just walk around there at night. We stayed at the Heartbreak hotel and would just walk up to the complex (the old one) and walk through it then around the parking lot where the other gift shops used to be and along the gates of Graceland. Nothing was closed! Now, I probably wouldn't walk around there as a female at night but you sure have the right o do so and I love it! I wish they wouldn't have torn down Heartbreak! I feel they certainly could have used it for something, it was a super cool place!

I love it. Your the best Spa Guy. As soon as you caught the guard in a lie where he said that he had encountered you in that same spot and you said you did not, we spoke at the gate a couple of years ago and you weren't very nice then either, and after you informed him that you were staying in the guesthouse hotel and was paying to be there he really tightened up. I really like the way you turned it around without any trouble and he was giving you imformation. Very smart and showed him that he couldn t push you around but you did it with southern style. I also liked how you left the camera rolling and got your footage. I hope that the guard views this and reads the comments so next time he see s someone videoing he will take a moment to ask Sir, are you a guest here and may I ask what you are doing instead of just yelling at someone just because he has some authority. I love the beautiful footage of the gates at night. I can just see Elvis standing there signing autographs for his fans. Things have changed so much. They should be thanking you for all of the advertising you post about Graceland to all of Elvis's fans around the world. Thank you Billy for another great video and for TCB the way you did. Hi Sir Spa.. that would have got my back up too! It’s an open space with no barriers in which therefore looks like it’s free to walk upon and they tell you it’s closed. Either put up a gate/barrier or a clear sign indicating it’s closed. And that security guard I think after your comments about his attitude and your filming he felt obliged to have to speak to you or it could have had repercussions.He could have approached it in a friendlier way from the outset..simple! Good for you sir. Keep up the brilliant filming of Elvis’s life..don’t know what I’d do without it now 😇

Spa Guy got CLASS. Turned that ol'boy's frown upside down. Ignored his BS and engaged in the Elvis talk. (Or did you strike that famous Karate pose? just kidding there.) That guard probably would've liked to have that Segway. But please be careful driving that thing down the highway. Anyway - loved how you sweet-talked that dude. Way to go!

What a great way to zip around and do some filming!!! Love the segway travelling, Spa Guy!! Wonderful way you diffused that bit of a headache -- lol. Great footage and thank you for all you do for us. It is hard to see all these changes, though. Great tidbits you got from him. Good job!

Well the conversation ended up okay. I thought how you rolled up to the gates was really cool. Love those gates. I like the old set up better but everything changes. Nice vlov Billy👍🏻😎

I pulled my little Nissan pickup truck right up to the gate around midnight in 1995. Super cold outside and the gate guard immediately walked out and asked if I needed anything. I told him I always wanted to see Graceland and wouldn’t be there very long. He said ok and walked back into the guard house. They don’t mess around, if something catches their attention they move quickly.

Spa Guy, I am at home like so many people in the world are so I am rewatching some of the your Elvis videos. I wonder how Elvis would be feeling about what is going on in the world right now. I have no doubt that he would be donating and trying to help people as he always did. I commented 11 months ago about the guard and the beautiful footage of the gates at night. I imagine that there are no fans at the gate right now. I am praying that God grants someone the knowledge to invent a vacine that will stop the deadly Virus. It is so sad with so many people passing away and it is a scary time too. Stay Safe Billy, and tell Lori Hello and to Stay Safe too. God Bless You Both.

What these little tin Gods need to be told is, it was the fans who helped build all this and invested in it. Back in the day I used to tell friends I was paying off a mortgage on a house in Memphis. When they say "Really" I'd say "Yes, it's called Graceland".

I was at Graceland in the 90s as a kid and accidentally set off an alarm for touching a fence. I'll never forget that guards came from everywhere lol.

I would guess about 9pm Dolly..

@@SpaGuy The reason I asked is that some might think it was really late at night and that you perhaps looked suspicious, but when I was there in October, I walked down to the gate a couple of evenings in a row about 7:30 pm and IT WAS JUST AS QUIET! I was totally shocked.
