Fantastic work spa guy✔✔✔ , over the last few months, the Irish had a competition to find the ten best folk songs. So they started with one thousand folk songs and whittled them down to ten . Elvis was one of the top ten out of one thousand wow. So he won a competition after been dead for 42 years . Elvis oh Danny boy. I like the early one 🐾💂👑💂🐾

He should have won that was a Great version of that song.. I have a story coming up of Danny Boy from the guy who played piano on it..

Looking forward to that .👍👍👍🐾💂👑💂🐾
@eddiehanlon22865 жыл бұрын
O yes of course it was for a great version of oh Danny boy, I did not feel the need to underline that obvious point . Given the song came out lot's of years before elvis was born so could not of been written by him or exclusively written for him .but thanks for your input. I think elvis dose that song best . +hurt and lot's more. Looking forward to more of your videos .Eddie 🐾💂👑💂🐾

Wow.. incredible to imagine Elvis walking inside these buildings as a teenager to support his family! Respect to Elvis & Gene for them both throwing themselves in a what looks like a not very interesting or exciting job to do their part.. Sad to hear of the accident of his cousin, must have been a tough time for the family. Next instalment beckons.. Thanks Sir Billy 😇

Thank you for your very hard work in bringing Elvis trivia to we the Elvis fans. Elvis did work hard and continued up until his death. He took care of his family and had family members working for him and living with him until the time of his death. Sad about his uncle dying so tragically. Mr. Spa Guy do be careful in your adventures especially out and about in Memphis. Continue to tighten up. Lord bless.

Hi Billy 😊 thanks for sharing this, I think we drove past the Precision tool building once, because it looks familiar, just didn't know that's where Elvis had worked or Elvis related, it's a shame about Gene's brother, very sad! Time sure doesn't stand still, any trace of where people have been, it changes, and too look at it now you'd never know they were there! I appreciate your documenting these places, and showing where they were, I wonder how many people like me just drove by without knowing that's where Elvis had worked? Thanks again Billy 😊 for sharing!.. your friend Bonnie

What's great about the videos Billy makes is that as an elvis fan you can read as many books as you like, but unless you have been lucky enough to travel to Memphis and then research where all these locations are, you'll only ever have your imagination to try and picture what these places look like. Not anymore, what Billy does is show us the disappearing world of elvis presley, many places have already gone, others soon will be, love your video's Billy.

SG, Thanks for another information piece of the Elvis puzzle. These old 'blue collar' buildings made of basic concrete blocks are still cool. Myself ,,started out working in a 'grunt' machine shop, so believe me i know about the 'wanting a clean job' thing. They ALL have a distinct smell of 'hot metal' and black fuzz all over the floor. Wonder what some of these buildings are actually used for now. Looks like they be used probably as a bit of storage for a skeleton metal company. Keep on keepin on && you know,,,,, Tighten up! :)

4:56 That GMC logo and the design of the building points to this having been a GMC dealership from the 30s/40s. The big showroom window to the right of the door has been bricked over. I’m sure it’s the same on the other side too. There was probably a showroom on the second floor too- there was a long wrap-around window that’s been bricked up too. The other bricked up windows on the second floor would have been managers’ offices. The lower building in the back is the service department- those are the garages to the service bays that are blocked up. The other street is BB King Blvd, formerly 3rd Street.

When u get off interstate to go to Graceland there is a old building to your Left on EP blvd called Freedom Park (i believe). Looks to be 60’,s-70’s architecture. With being so close to his home, any Elvis connection to that business park? I just wonder every time I go by. Thanks.
