I saw Elvis here in Lexington at the YMCA. I was 7 yrs. old, but still remember this.

Love how they totally embrace the Elvis history..so cool. Did those people at the bar know you were filming? Lol 🤣 they looked so confused😂. Donuts looked really good too!

Nicely done!! Very cool. I love seeing the old haunts Elvis and the guys visited. There's a sadness seeing places like this, too, but so awesome to have it captured. :)

Fun fact... my family has lived in Lexington forever. When Elvis came to town, he was actually not feeling well. He went and saw a local doctor whose house and office were one block south of this location and then got some perscriptions filled at a drug store just down the street about a block. My grandfather was the pharmacist that filled those prescriptions. I still have them to this day!!!

Trey , This video is one of the the most interesting video you ever filmed !! Not only because Elvis stayed there. Nonetheless , how the Owner and his friend are talking an interest on keeping Elvis alive And it’s more than Cool it’s Marvelous!!! As I always say “ If Walls Could Talk “ Also, the Bar and the Donut Shop are very Charming and Classy, It is definitely another must stay when the hotel is completed. Awesome that the place still exists and is being used for real businesses. Just fantastic to see the upstairs where the rooms used to be. These old buildings are fascinating. By looking at the outside brick you can see SO many changes in what used to be there - the bricked up windows, doorways, etc. Great to see you found the actual room he stayed in. Great job on this one. Until the next one, take care, my friend.

Good job not far down the road is where elvis went to the dry cleaners to have all his clothes done while he was on the road and another fun fact old man from pawn stars came from that area born in Danville but lived in Lexington I think they still have family there they have a key to Lexington thanks for visiting my town pretty neat about the hotel

@TreyMiller im truley saddened that u n @SpaGuy didnt get in touch wt me while u was this close to me in High Point. ive briefly chatted with him about about all this. Would had loved to show u, skating ring they played, an outdoors on back of traler wt the Hayride in a big open field at one point, Hotel he stayed, then the new theater he played nice new back then wt all ppl on Hayride tour. My great Anut n Uncle owned the skating rink in which he played n it is still there. they r still living too n have a great memory of it all. We love cherish anything Elivs just like these two guys. My Mom went to his last concert he played in Greensboro, N.C..

My grandmother was the girl that got the autograph, she was the president of Elvis fan club in Lexington my uncle currently has the picture
