Wow ! 19 years old. Even then his voice was awesome. This was the good ole days. I love Elvis's singing and Elvis's dancing even if it was from him being nervous as many say. I heard Elvis say in an interview that he couldn t stand still when he was singing. I think he was feeling the music. I also love Elvis's charisma and southern charm and manners. It's good to hear a 19 year old call a man Sir, and I noticed in many of his interviews as he grew older that as famous as Elvis became that he still addressed the men as Sir and the ladies as Mam or Dear. I 'm sure that this has been said thousands of times but I will say it again. There will never be another Elvis Presley. Not Ever !

@@jussaraneves9970 hello, I'm a big Elvis fan myself. Elvis didn't like being called the King because there's is only one King, (The King of King's), that is the Lord Jesus Christ. Elvis was at his happiest when he was singing and praising the Lord or even listening to his own band praising the Lord. Even though we are fans of Elvis, or whoever we love it is important to put Jesus first. The bible states it is a sin to call on the dead or seance, (talk to the dead) and I understand people get comfort thinking they can speak with friends or family that have passed on into the next life. Hopefully when we make it into God's kingdom, there we will meet again with one's who have left us.

I don't think that Elvis was full on, White. No way, he must have had some black in him, somewhere in his bloodline 😄.
@bradhuskers2 жыл бұрын
@christianbetancourt4648 Why is that? In your mind, you think only blacks have soul? That's how you come across. Ever heard of Morgan James? She's white. She's got more soul than ANY artist in history. Check her out. Right here on KZbin. Singing "oh me oh my" Then get back to me.
@christianbetancourt46482 жыл бұрын
@@bradhuskers I never even mentioned the word soul. Where did you get that? Have you ever been to a Black church? If you ever visit one, you'll see that theirs a world of difference between a Black church and every other non black church that exists. And you'll also notice that Blacks shake and preach louder and sing gospel, louder than anyone else on the face of this earth. And Elvis, did exactly that. Elvis also had Latin in him from his French side, Cherokee Indian and Jewish, too. I do also. Anyhow, I was mostly kidding but yes, I do believe that Elvis has something in him, that is normally found in those of Black or Latin blood 😄. Why. Because he sure knew how to shake and sing like a Black or Latin, Southern Pentecostal 😄.
@bradhuskers2 жыл бұрын
@christianbetancourt4648 Are you kidding? There's nothing you can tell me about elvis presley that I don't already know. I've studied everything longer than you've been alive. You said, "must have black in him" end quote. I mentioned "Morgan James" because she's white. Soul is not a "skin color" thing. I've been to every kind of church you could imagine. And in white Pentecostal churches, there's an excitement that's equally unmatched. Again, it's not a race or skin color thing. Look around the internet, and you'll immediately see weak minded sheep spitting out total BS on elvis and anything else they can. There are whites who are dull with no excitement, just as there are blacks who are dull with no excitement. It's a HUMAN thing. Your problem is that you see everything thru a propaganda filtered lens. You've obviously heard of CRT, correct? It's based on bullshit propaganda. Were you aware of this? Or am I talking to a weak minded sheep? The point is that you need to think more critically.

As he grew older and moved around even his Tennessean accent flattened out quite a bit. My granddaughter who was born in Ireland came to Canada at the age of 10 and arrived with a heavy accent that even my husband had a difficult time understanding her. Now she has no trace of that accent only 8 years later.. People with an adaptive ear for music, then to take on the accent of their surroundings.

+axiomist There are no drums. Elvis band didnt have a drummer until august 1955.
@axiomist10769 жыл бұрын
+HillbillyCountry45s I know that. But if you listen closely, you can hear a tapping going on. Probably the brush on the rim of the drum. The "Hayride" probably had their own drummer, etc. There's a story about Elvis going to the Opry, where he hoped to become a regular. This was his big ambition, as he was Country and the Opry was the Mecca of country music. When they showed up, the manager of the theatre told them he wanted the whole band, like on the record. But Scotty and Bill were all there was. They did make a lot of noise all by themselves(and Elvis.) This incident was dramatized on the mini-series "Elvis- the Early Years" which used to play on TV during Elvis's birthday some years ago.
