Bet your getting fed up with me LOL. But I'm really enjoying what you do. There is a colour film of the parade on utube its got his mom and dad talking on a radio station then Nick Adams talks on the station. It's on, Tupelo welcome home Elvis presley 1956 the name of the channel is called Farid Lahcen, its very good.

Absolutely not! Really glad to have you watch and comment 🤗. I'll take a look at that video - the audio for the interviews with his parents and Nick Adams are on the 'Golden Celebration' box from 1984 but I don't believe I've seen colour footage.

June Juanico not mention anything about that interference with police. To me seems that she's more upset on Elvis rather than his manager who didn't liked her... But great story, thank you.

She says they dated in the 50s and 60s. Most people say maybe a year. Personally, I think most of their pictures look like publicity shots. He proposed to June and she toured with him. In 1956, he spent Christmas Day with a Vegas show girl. June suspects Colonel Parker set it up and in March Elvis came to get her to come to the new home he bought, Graceland. She broke it off because she felt betrayed. However, I believed he loved her his entire life. I would highly recommend her book.

@@Elizabeth-dw6lc I 💯 agree. They never forgot each other. I really think that JUNE was his first true and serious Love 💞 His mgr was always interfering with their relationship.
