God has bigger plans for Elvis until we meet again Elvis because we WILL. You are the greatest singer ever. An icon and Legend. Incredibly handsome. Most of all your face had sheer beauty! Your face was beautiful. Porcelain like skin flawless eyes that smiled and a face that came alive . This concert was incredibly fantastic a very well polished act . What a sense of humour and fun he had that in itself is a talent .

Amen, ✝️✌️♥️ ELVIS was nearing the end of his journey on earth. He knew his time was always short, he had to do everything In a short amount of time, time was quickly running out. He always should be Respected for all that he accomplished in his short life. He spent his entire adult life pleasing others. This gave him great joy, he wanted to give back for all that God had Blessed him with. He never hesitated one second to reach out to anyone in need. His hope, was for everyone to be as Blessed as he had been. He wanted to help in anyway, to make a life better for all people. He accomplished that, for one, he made a difference here on earth in our lives. He brought JOY and Happiness when we needed it, he brought many people closer to GOD with his gospel, when they were distant. He helped open up minds of discrimination, of all kinds. He had hope that someday the answer was going to come for the world, he wanted to live to help and see it happen. Now he is in the Kingdom of Heaven. Rest, Dear ELVIS❤️ 3-21-22

Its hard to watch some of these videos of the shows he did from around 74 to the end BUT ELVIS JUST DUG DEEP TO THE END as he always had AND IT WAS RIGHT TO THE END. All he wanted to do was MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY and those who were lucky enough to see him "in the flesh" to to speak left VERY HAPPY.

Don't get me wrong he still put everything he had left into his performance, it's just that I dont think he had anything left to give. If you watch him in 69 and 70 compared to this it's hard to watch. Long live the king

What an AWESOME guy, the biggest star in the world and he leaps out of his limousine with NO protection, just his wanting to help a kid who may get beat up badly, his having concern for a person that he doesn't even know...who in this day and age or ANY day and age would risk doing what Elvis did or even care enough like Elvis did, a lot of people would just find it to be something to feed their love of violence/entertainment. Elvis leapt out of his limo to save a kid from a potentially bad beating with no concern AT ALL of having his handlers there with him to help if he wanted it, oh, and by the way, another guy with a HUGE heart, Muhammad Ali (They greatly admired each other and were friends!!!!!) in 1981, took it upon himself to talk a black youth down from a ledge and jumping from a building to his certain death, no wonder they were best of friends, theIr talent, drive and compassion for their fellow human being/family was NUMBER ONE, not being waited on like they were ROYALTY and too good to be involved with us mere peasants!!!!!!!

There are two ways to look at the last few shows. A typical fan will have one of two opinions. One contingent will talk about "how bad he looked, how tired he looked. And it was amazing he could even walk onto the stage. And he was so out of breath, etc." The other half of Elvis fandom will talk about how his voice had never been better, and he gave some of his best, most amazingly operatic vocal performances of his life. I agree with both. He could at times be a little short of breath, still, his voice had gained even more depth and was simply out of this world. Along with lowering down a little, Elvis's voice had gained an even richer tone and resonance. And range. He was hitting some incredible power notes that put him in the opera league, or the Roy Orbison league, or whatever you want to call it. I love his voice in the later years. I think he did his very best vocals in the last year of his life. Of course, it had to be a song he actually cared about. So I don't mean any 50s hits that he, by that time anyway, probably thought were banal, and as an artist probably felt that he had long ago outgrown. For these, he would half-breath his way through as quickly as he could. But songs that he liked to perform in the 70s? That's when you can hear what his voice was really capable of. _Unchained Melody_ is my favorite Elvis song ever, and one he never recorded in a studio. Other songs he cared about at that time, such as _Hurt, Rags To Riches, Blue Eyes Cryin' In The Rain,_ and _An American Trilogy_ demonstrate how his already amazing voice was getting close to miraculous. And so it truly is such a shame that Elvis couldn't have enjoyed robust health at the same time he was hitting his vocal peak.

Big Elvis fan here, was at Graceland last year, awesome city to visit. Sorry he had it so rough when he was SO good, sounds like people around him took advantage which is common in human nature. Visit Graceland and when you get to the awards hall remember this post. Mind-blowing. And then you get to the racquet ball court and there's more awards, hundreds more it seemed. Very cool man in "real" life. Tom Petty met him as a child.

The only thing that mattered was that Col. Tom Parker wanted Elvis on stage. All that mattered to the Tom Parker was money. Memphis mafia new what condition Elvis was in and tried to get Elvis to stop. Unfortunately there was no Betty Ford clinic at that time. It was a matter of time. You can see that Elvis started to deteriorate around 1973. Elvis will always be The King of Rock and Roll. There would he no Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones and Nirvana if wasn't for the revolution in the early 50's. God Bless Elvis Presley!

I think ultimately Elvis essentually worked himself to death- I say that as a fan. Not to be critical of him. The drugs allowed him to maintain a super-human schedule that eventually worked to age him beyond what is normal or reasonable for a five or even ten year period. He desperately needed rest and a long break. Regardless, he'll always be remembered fondly and lovingly with a voice that was majestic.

Because of Colonel Parker’s gambling addiction. Elvis had problems, but CP owed millions of dollars to casinos in Las Vegas. He only let Elvis do things that put money in his pocket. He totally controlled Elvis, and it was so awful how he used him for his own gain.

That man should never have been up on that stage. He looks ill and exhausted yet still trying hard to keep the audience happy. He can barely get the words out, he hasn't got much control of his vocals, reaching desperately for those tops notes and, dare I say it, his pitch sounds flat in places. Behind the smiles and jokes, he seems unhappy, wondering whether he would ever get off the endless treadmill of churning out these shows. I have loved Elvis all my life and I always will but seeing him like this absolutely breaks my heart.

He had colon problems, why do you think he had colon problems, because when you take everything he was taking, it blocks up your colon, so you keep eating, but you can not shit, so what happens, food can't leave the body, but you keep eating, well you know how he had colon problems, if he got off the pills, his body would have started working right again, he would still be alive, also caused all his other problems

So he started out with that problem and the drugs he was taking (once he really got into painkillers like Dilaudid in the early 70s and on) just complicated things. Sad story.

@@johnllewellyn7085 yes. I've seen it referenced in several books, including Peter Guralnick's two volume biography. I cannot say for sure about Lisa Marie having it, but I did read that Elvis and Gladys both did.

Barbara Eden said Elvis would get a shot in the butt before going on stage and that his backside looked like a pin cushion. She revealed that in her autobiography, Jeanie Out Of The Bottle. However I didn’t know just what was in that shot. I heard that he took Testosterone. I don’t know by what means though.

Elvis . what a great man. to stop the limo get out and jump into save,a young man being best up by two guys. I bet those two guys . crapped those britches. Now think one of only a very few pleasures ELVIS had. other than music . Lisa Marie. and cilla. his mama and daddy

punchline43 Yes I have. But it defies logic. Why would they have a wax mannequin and show it to 10,000 people? They could have just had a closed lid coffin and no wax mannequin. It "didn't look like him"? He lay face down in the carpet for several hours with livor mortis causing blood pooling on one side of his face and his upper chest. Then they did a full autopsy... peeled his face off and pulled it back up. Not nice to think about but it's what happened. It's a wonder he looked anything like himself. I wish he was alive and well somewhere, but he isn't.

Elvis was and still is my idol. I have seen some very disturbing photos of him and he looked so terrible,It shows this man had a very serious drug addition. Also it shows on many of his concerts .He sings so. Great at the same time he could not talk properly it certainly showed he was under medications. How so very sad he did not get the help he needed, such a. caring man and good to others not so good to himself.. I will always love Elvis and Thank him for the beautiful music he left for us.God Bless you and Rest In Peace.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Man!!! He is in SUCH poor health here... he makes me sick just looking at him. I try to clear my mine and just say, "He's great no matter what" but I can't help but notice... he can BARELY move on the stage. And he has to constantly gasp for air when he sing his big notes. He still had a great voice but he can't keep up with his health. Makes me SO SAD to see him like this.

They did put Elvis in the Hospital and get him feeling better.I really wish someone could have helped him. Elvis helped so many people and no one was there to help him. I never got to meet Elvis but i fell in Love with him. He was a Loving kind and caring man. I Love you forever Elvis !!!!!
