Jesus ALLOWS you entrance to the KINGDOM of GOD, NOT to the kingdom of Jesus. What was the FIRST commandment GOD GAVE YOU? I know we always know him as king of RNR but Elvis would tell people that Jesus is the King of all Kings n he was just an entertainer I love when young people like yourself enjoys Elvis. He could sing everything n he did over the years I'm 70 now n grew up listening to Elvis since 1956. Elvis read the Bible everyday n sometimes sang gospel songs all night long his ex-wife said He was so nervous before going on stage so he would have the guys sing a gospel song with him before running on stage n he would say a prayer. He loved gospel music more than any other music He sang. I only got to one concert Aloha concert 1973 n sat 3rd row center n couldn't take my eyes off of him I was 21

Jane H commenting ….. Elvis was a very spiritual man & he loved singing his praises to God, & singing gospel. I believe he was arranging to hold a Gospel Concert when he died. Thank you for sharing this with us, & for your Reaction. I’ve been a fan of Elvis since I was 15 & I’m now 72, so for a number of decades. I still love watching his concerts. He was an Amazing performer who always wanted to make his fans happy & give them a great concert experience. New subscriber.

If you think this one is great watch him sing this song in 77 in his last concert six weeks before he died even if he was sick and probably tired doing a concert every day sometimes two in a different town his voice never left him it was even more powerful I think god heard him in this song it is truly amazing

Elvis only got 3 Grammies in his life, all for Gospel music. Twice for this song, for the studio recording and the live concert version. He could have sung the phone book, and we still would be enthralled! He lives on in his music and concert footage, 46 years after his death.
