Elvis is the only Entertainer admitted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Country Music Hall of Fame, Rythm & Blues Hall of Fame, Gospel Music Hall of Fame, and Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame. Elvis could sing any genre' of Music. Kentucky Rain was a Country Song released in 1969 by Elvis... He was remarkable. His Legend Lives on inyounger people like you. I am 70 and grew up with Elvis... it's nice to see younger generations discovering Elvis. His Vocal interpretations were unmatched. Nobody sang with more feeling, emotion or passion than Elvis. Nobody!

My dad passed away too soon at 58 😔 2 Elvis songs were played at Dad's funeral because he just loved him! Driving in the procession to his final resting place this song came on the radio and we were all taken aback because Kentucky Rain isn't one you usually hear being played. We knew dad was with us 💙 thank y'all for this reaction it brings back happy memories

It isn't his final resting place, only temporary as he "sleeps in the dust of the earth", until that day he is reconstituted (if not saved to eternal life then) to a healthy physical life, to live a full life and learn about the true One King over all, full of God's spirit in his mind (a short period of time of judging, then the test, and reward of eternal life or sentencing to eternal death). This is the truth of scripture, and not the traditions of man steeped in paganism while cloaked in false "Christianity", false Biblical precepts. No one who has ever died is experiencing consciousness, seeing the pain and suffering of the age. Everything has a time and order.

Aggie, my Father passed away in 1989 from liver and pancreas cancer. He was 58 too. I know the feeling. Pancreatic cancer is deadly and just eats away at your body. I will always believe that they have a cure for cancer, but the money they make from treatments is what they want. Your Father is in my prayers, along with you and your family.

Great reaction, enjoyed watching. Genres didn't matter to Elvis, and never limited him. to him, it was music. Note.: Elvis is the only singer in 4 music halls of fame. the Rock and Roll hall of fame, The Rhythm & Blues hall of fame, the country music hall of fame the Gospel hall of fame. Elvis sang every genre, and he did each masterfully.

Keep in mind the times for which his popularity was, and the dance routines along with his value as an entertainer to the masses. The original for what later became known as pop music that was made famous by MJ. When you watch the entire performance of his 68' TV special , he was before MTV and Michael Jackson, and a whole host of great performers to follow, yet he was doing music videos before anyone really understood the concept. It was his long run of silly romantic comedies in movies that helped him also perfect his on stage performances and then in Las Vegas. He was the total package for his times in the entertainment world, and what made him so popular. Some of his tunes are still considered top notch.

You've done some amazing Elvis reactions! Elvis specialized in rock'n'roll in the 50s. In fact Rolling Stone said he singlehandedly made rock the most popular form of pop music. But Presley liked all genres and branched out to all forms for the rest of his career. He was the 1st to make movement a part of his performance to mainstream audiences. The teenage girls loved it but the adults were scandalized. A good example is his performance on the Milton Berle show 56.if you react make sure it's the longer live version and not the one where they play the record over the vocals.
