When you met Linda Thompson you showed her the picture and she confirmed that it was indeed him as well as her walking behind him. Sad to see another piece of Memphis and Elvis history gone.

SG fuuny- I was thinking of the that Fire Alarm bell same moment you mentioned it. Wish I had been there to grab a brick from that wall. Big picture statement- there is something deeply wrong with the way buildings are wholesale being demolished instead of re purposed. Almost seems to reveal a desire to physically eliminate the past.

You'd think somebody would have to have one or many photos? Especially the owner(s) of that dealership? You'd think that would be a great keepsake or promotional type thing seeings how many Cadillacs Elvis purchased there or how often he was there? And the money alone that he spent there. Just my opinion though.

Anyway, I love your videos, they are allowing anyone who's interested the chance to see what we cannot go and see in person due to distance and time and money. I really appreciate it. Now, if you can tell me the model number and brands of some of Elvis' audio equipment like his record players and turntables and stereos, I would like to see that video! Great history documentation SG. Think about it, You are most likely the only one that even took the time to capture this spot of known Elvis history walking through the gate with entourage in tow. It is gone forever now. Also as an aside I went to work at a Cadillac dealer washing cars the day i got my drivers license. It is strange how much this building looked on the inside of building i worked in ( on a much smaller scale) with the multilevel ramps and hole shabang. These old buildings are gorgeous inside with the built-in sale cubicles ,heavy plated glass,,,frosted glass, diamond tiling etc,,and such. Sorry to hear you didn't get the historical blocks you wanting to get. Have found myself,,,when calling businesses about various things you never even get a call back nowadays, It just seems like everyone including the telephone switch person just plays dumb to your phone calls any more, Pretty frustrating at times and seems to get worse with each year that goes by. Sorry for long comment but sure appreciate all the documentation your are getting on Elvis history. Keep after it. Thanks again.
