He would be 83 today. The single most talented and important performer in the history of entertainment. It hurts like hell to think that he only had 42 years on this planet. Clips like this should be obligatory in every primary school schedule in the world. He changed everything, and for those of you who thinks that he was this bloated caricature in a jumpsuit (as so often portrayed in the media), think again. You`ve truly missed something if that is your lasting impression of Elvis. Wonder if any other performer was so harshly criticized for his looks than Elvis..? The fact is that except a very limited period (in the latter stages of his life), he was so good looking that meeting him in person made people speechless. Happy birthday wherever you are, Elvis. Those of us that loved you (and still do) are so grateful that you existed in our time.
