I've been an Elvis fan for 40 yrs. Since I was about 12 yrs old. There was something about his voice the first time I heard it. In the last 40+ yrs I have bought over 70 albums and still listen to him all the time. God truly reached down and touched Elvis. He was blessed by God with the most incredible voice ever known, incredible looks, incredible magnetism and charisma. There will never be another like Elvis Presley.

I was lucky enough to see Elvis twice in 74 & 76 in Baton Rouge. My sister and I went out back of the stadium where he and Linda came out to get in their car. He was four feet away. The most beautiful Man I've ever seen. Great singer & actor...entertainer of all time.

All I know is he apologizes real pretty. 1973, perhaps 74, I was walking down a side street in Tahoe along the side of one of those club/theaters where famous people do shows. Suddenly a door flew open and about seven men came bustling out and ran straight into me, knocking me down (I'm a very small woman, perhaps 90 pounds dripping wet at the time). Several of them began helping me up while the rest of them climbed into a couple of fancy cars at the curb. The back window of one of them rolled down half way and the man inside asked, "Are you alright Miss? Bob, is she alright?" I couldn't see the face but there was no mistaking the voice. If that wasn't Elvis Presley I'm an elephant. The men who helped me up were still brushing at me and and excusing themselves, some of them climbing into the cars were complaining they were already going to be late. One teased the man behind the window that this wasn't the way to make friends. He answered, "I can't knock a little girl down in the dirt and run off without helping her! Damn, I'm so sorry I'm ashamed." One man was slapping at the side of the car complaining they had no time. As the car began to pull away he said "Bob, you make damn sure she's alright. If she's not I'll take it on me personally." and the car sped off leaving me, and I assume Bob, on the sidewalk. With many assurances that I was, indeed, just fine Bob jumped into the second car and was also gone. So I met Elvis when he knocked me flat in the street. I think I should have claimed an injury and gone to the hospital just to see if he'd come himself to visit and bring me flowers. But no, he sounded sorry enough without that.
