Elvis certainly is a Legend. He had it all. He loved entertaining & he loved his fans. This was a fun song & Elvis enjoyed being playful on stage, & he had the moves, which caused a lot of contention when he first shot to fame as a 19 year old in 1954. He had charisma in bucket loads & he had Southern Charm, because he was a Southern Gent. People said when he walked into a room, everyone could feel the energy coming off him, before they turned to see him. A fantastic performer & he had a wide range of songs to choose from …. Over 700. He even sang in Spanish & could sing in several other languages, He made over 31 Hollywood movies too. He was just an Amazing man.

Hello from England ELVIS died 2 days before my 12th birthday, 16th August 1977, I have been a FAN ever since. How can i have a FAVOURITE song in his repertoire? No I cannot and i love all of THEM, and he recorded over 700 songs. But this one is "UP THERE". He could have recorded an album of Nursery Rhymes and i would have loved them ALL He is on stage and he turns round to his TCB band members and smiles. His left leg starts to JIGGLE and the audience, and mainly the girls start to "STIR" and then SCREAM. He WIGGLES HIS HIPS. He just had that SEX APPEAL, THE ENTERTAINMENT VALUE WAS OFF THE RICHTER SCALE and THE CHARISMA was TRULY MESMERISING There was never anyone before during or since like ELVIS. Have you done a reaction to Elvis singing STEAMROLLER BLUES at the ALLOA FROM HAWAII SATERLITE SHOW IN JANUARY 73 - i recommend you do one

He could have been one of the greatest actors ever if not for his manager
@margarettaylor81073 жыл бұрын
He was excellent as an actor for the type of roles given him.Who else could have played them so well? He was a great comedian..phenomenak comedic timing that the greatest dramatic actirs do not have. Every actor wirking with him thought he was very good in his roles. Who do you know that can do drama and comedy, dance, sing, play multiple instruments and have phenomenal looks as well? Answer is nobody.Fans should recognize that he was these things in all his movies.His movies are very entertaing..lighthearted and fun

Yes, Elvis had acting potential, he was a talented boy, but Parker just wanted money, as if he couldn't live without it

@@gabaduran3333 Not acting potentia..l he was a good actor and yes he would have been great in other roles but his dramatic acting was excellent.There is more than one type of movie. Drama is not the only kind to act in. .Parker was thinking only of money

@@evelynmabe7877 I do not agree.Read Destined to Die Young by Sally Hoedel or watch one of her many interviews on reaction channels.One is Globetrotting with Trey. Every fan should know how both sides arrived at their conclusions.Almost all conclusions are from books that are mainly sourced by Red and Sonny West's book which was ghost written by a writer for the National Enquirer.So there is room fpr disbelief in many situations in their book.Her book is extensively researched over three years. it is the only book that I know of that its author bothers to dig deep into his unfortunate death.A lot of money is made from books where fabrications and salaciousness rules to sell more books.Her book is exceedingly interesting. It is not salacious and gissipy and does not cast bad asoersions at Elvis.Aally only wants to germt to yhe absolute truth after so many accusations were made by conspiracy conjectutmre only.She is an Elvis fan too...No motive money ..only wants to reveal the best truth oossible.Nobody should ever comes to conclusions without knowing the opposing view in detail.Trey also has a fun channel about Elvis. Do not be a fan hanging in the dark about her book.Many fans love this book.

Please check out "I Want You I Need You I Love You" from Elvis in 1956. Short story related to the song, he was touring in Texas at the time, just blowing up around the country. A plane was chartered to fly him to Nashville to record this song, and there were engine problems, and the plane nearly fell out of the sky a few times. He was said to not have had a good session because of how scared he was,and cut it short. The song was pieced together from only 3 takes. He would try to limit flying as much as possible for years afterwards.

You try singing while moving every part of your body and not catch your breath. A phenomenon.
@kiwimatt68913 жыл бұрын
That was great man. Iconic song and you’re right he crossed genres and you have to be so talented to pull that off to the standard he does. I believe he sung 11 individual genres throughout his career. I don’t think you have looked at the opening number from his 68 comeback but it’s worth a look - trouble/guitar man - the opening number. What a start to an iconic special. Great reaction 😀😀

Elvis recorded 769 songs.You are missing out if you only listen to the same usual ones. For instance, listen to Hurt How Great Thou Art, Reconsuder Baby, Hawaiian Love Song, Surrender, Tomorriw Never Comes, Fairy Tale, Such a Night, Movin' On, From Jack to a King, Please Release Me, Bridge over Troubled Waters, Ghost Riders in the Sky..these are some but the list is almost endless.

I can tell you appreciate Elvis as much as those of us who've been fans since the '50s do. And it's a great thing for us to watch you keeping his legacy alive!! It's hard to choose recommendations because there are so many running through my head but here goes: How Great Thou Art from 1972; The Gospel Production Number from the '68 Comeback Special; Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra; Elvis Presley - STUCK ON YOU in STEREO - 1960; and Elvis Sings Mean Woman Blues (full scene).

Queen cannot compare to Elvis.Put their pictures up side by side..Elvis os the most gorgeous man to ever live.Queen did not sing every genre of music..Elvis did and had number one hits in every genre. Elvis even had a bigger vocal range than Freddie who often screamed and sang in falsetto.Elvis' voice was very powerful and a range of G-1 to A#. Queen hit high notes as a tenor.Elvis was a baritone hitting thise high notes.Famous opera singers such as Pavoratti said he could not sing like Elvis but Elvis could sing like me.Elvis sang with so much passion that you would cry. Elvis vocals are sensual passionate. Perfect pitch.He had a photographic memory and could sing any song after hearing it once.He is the greatest entertainer of all time and yes Freddy said Elvis influenced him.So did Michael Jacksin whi copied even Elvis' hand gestures.John Lenon said that before Elvis there was nothing.They got into music because of Elvis. The list of people Elvis influenced or copied him is long.His music peers named him king.Michael Jackson named himself king of pop because a movie star and friend Elizabeth Taylor named him that..not his music peers.
