I always enjoyed Ann Murray’s hit with this record in 1970 but when Elvis made this the opening track on Elvis country which seems to be a very lost Gem. I loved it great song and Elvis country is a fabulous album that does not get much attention on KZbin for some strange reason 😻⚡️⚡️

This is my favourite Elvis era I love absolutely everything on this album and this song especially. It's great to hear how the song started out and then ended up. Does anybody happen know if Elvis ever played played it live

Ya could take the boy out the country but never take the country out of the boy, loved his country album. If I had to be picky, and this only my opinion, but i always the musicians were way too fast on thid track, loved Elvis, s vocals though, I'd have loved to hear it at slower pace. Thanks Leon, did you get my request for a furst take to master on The Fairs Moving on, i know there's very little yo workwith but what ya have youll do us proud.
