Im gonna keep watching as long as I can. Because my health has deteriorated since she passed away. Im disabled and I'm on a fixed income. I really need help, i have dental issues that is ruining my health also. Thanks for all your work.

This is a magical piece. It shows a lot of history of Elvis as well as a lot of what being a poor child was like (regardless of race) back in those days. Kids just being kids. Didn't matter what race your friend was. You just wanted to go swimming. It's amazing the swimming hole is still there. Thanx to those who preserved it. Larry Presley looks so thrilled to tell his stories. Thanx to you and Trey for documenting these areas. This is one of my favorite series. Grand job, my friend. Take care.

I grew up next to a creek it was a really good place to have fun. Just another story in Elvis's life that is just like a lot of kid's back then before the neighborhood swimming pool's took over, they may have been safer but the creek's had so much more exploring to do and were a lot of fun. Spring creek here in Oklahoma is where both of my parent's grew up and took us to. My dad's brother and his family actually used Spring creek for bathing. It's still very cold idk how they did it in the winter time. Maybe they hauled water and warmed it first would be my guess. My grandparent's had a horse troth for bathing I loved the backyard bath's there with grandma's camay soap. Thank you for the memorie's they are truly priceless. God bless you all. Larry many thank's to you, I'm sure all Elvis fan's love hearing you.

Hello from England As others have commented, Larry has such a good memory of back then and its 65 + years ago. At 7.21 into this video reading that plaque where Elvis, Guy Harris and Larry had such fun together. They made their own entertainment and more often than not they would end up going to see a film I got to ask my late father about lots of things, and about his childhood and teenage years, most spent during the war but he used to invent football games, he played marbles and would go with his brother and mates to the local park to play cricket and just run around all over the place.

Should do an experiment with trey. One stand at the birth house and one at the creek. Person at the house screams ' elvis, elvis, elvis' and see if the person at the creek can hear you. I may do that if i go to tupelo next week when i go to graceland for the first time. Yay.

Ty Spa Guy another great video. I got the confirmztion I am a distant relative of Elvis First of zll in this video he said thd Randalls lived there and showed an empty lot where there used to be a house Thstsy dads mom she is one of the Randalls. Next in Sallys book she said Glzdys dads name wzs Robert Lee Smith (Bob) thzt is my grandfathers dads brother. My dad was named after him Robert Lee Smith (Bob) everyone czlled him except my grandmz she called him Bobby even when she was older znd he was 50s. My dad, uncle, aunt and grandfather had the inherited colon and heart issues Elvis and Gladys had.

the house at the 3:18 mark, i saw a news clip of that house recently being sold saying it was once were elvis lived. in the book, Day by Day by peter guralnick an ernst jorgensen, on page 4, says in 1943 may 16th they moved from to mississippi gulf coast back to tupelo. which makes elvis about six years old. i think this is the house they moved into because they were homesick. (i couldnt find anywhere specific detailing where they moved back so i guess this is the house) whats cool what you did in this video is show how close they stayed in the neighborohood. including how close the fairground was!

QUESTION: Was any Blood Suckers [leeches] in any Mississippi waters, creeks? Up here in Wisconsin, there are Blood Suckers in very body of water and Blue Racers poison-snakes in creeks; especially when farmers planted Tobacco, I had to pile all that stuff and Rattle Snakes and Blue Racers kept warm at night under the huge Tobacco pile. When I started piling the wilted Tobacco, almost a snake under every Leaf. When I speared the Tobacco, same thing. Those weren't the good ole days :( :( Crystal
