Hollywood always puts their "spin" on movies they make and rearrange the facts, drives me nuts as we want the facts, not their spin on the story. Lamar claims their was nothing going on between Joyce and Elvis too, but I think the guys were always covering for Elvis when he was married to Priscilla. Jerry is close with Priscilla, so that might explain why he didn't put the story about Joyce in his book. It's crazy, but we still want the facts and nothing less. Thanks for this one! Loved that you talked to Joyce.

Thank you for the shout out.I am so happy you and Trey were able to get there to see it in person before everything was torn down. That brick building is key for the line up. It's amazing you got to speak with Joyce. In 2019, the KFC/Taco Bell was in full operation. The building on the Donut spot looks like an abandoned Taco Bell before they made the KFC/Taco Bell combo restaurant. So, I am thinking they are using the cross street entrance as the address which is why it has the Bladensburg address. Unfortunately it looks like that whole corner was bought out and a new complex is going in. The photos I had seen were from Joyce's E-book.

Great Elvis story, though I must admit I'm not sure how to feel about it. Yes it was an interesting and entertaining story, told flawlessly.. but look, Elvis was someplace he shouldn't ought to have been, with someone he shouldn't ought to have been with. He certainly lived life his way, by his rules. His womanizing is as epic as is everything else he ever did. Listening to some of his Girlfriends talk about their time with Elvis, and how well Elvis and his "boys" coordinated these ladies, flying them in and out of towns he was playing concerts in... one would fly home and another would be flown in. Amazing how much effort and planning and money must have gone into all the logistics in order to keep the revolving door going. My goodness.
