The greatest performances in history that only Elvis could do!!..I think Elvis took this song to another level by singing most wonderfully with his powerful and soulful voice infused with strong passion and energy. These two versions are equally great and I can just see that the magnificent and super powerful sound at the end of the song, brought the song to its peak, in Version One. "That's the Way It Is" is the BEST!!!! Been addicted to this movie since 1977. The performances are beyond awesome. We got to see Elvis totally being Elvis in the best year of his performances as far as I'm concerned. It just never gets old!!!
