It’s all part of his charm… that he looks for validation from his band mates. One of the cutest ones is when he’s singing Always on My Mind, and after he hits a low note, he looks over at JD and JD smiles. Love my Elvis

This Greensboro, NC concert was fantastic! I'd like to suggest 2 from this concert if you would consider (1) "Burning Love" as he holds the lyric sheet w-him on stage & tells the audience of thousands that it's a new song & he may goof it up kzbin.info/www/bejne/gni0qqd4aNyEg9U. I don't believe any other singer on the planet would do such a thing but he is just so comfortable & natural. The ending was fabulous as he kept it going on & on & said he didn't think they'd ever end, but of course that was all him "conducting" it & it was magic. (2) "Release Me" kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXu8Zn-XnZKUe8k -- & if you listen closely I believe you can hear the audience sing along w-him for a bit right after he says "chug-a-lug baby" -- it just sounds really extra special. He looked like he was enjoying himself throughout. Love Greensboro, thank you.

What many people dont know is that Elvis produced much of his music himself. And in the movie That's the way it is, you can see him direct his backup singers to this song. The miracle of Elvis is that with all his succes he could have done even better if he dident have the cornel Tom Parker around him. Tom prevented Elvis from working together with the best song writers, go on a world tour, getting rest. Immagine if Elvis had lived healthy for another 25 years and also learned to write songs (it is not as hard as people think) .

Although this 1972 performance has some great moments, I find it hard to compare to the 1970 performance. He seems much more emotionally involved, and focused. I guess there is a better production quality. Those close ups of his face..and the dramatic long shots❤️ Thank you for sharing!
