This is a good performance. The top of the pops one has been replaced by the channel with the album track with a little crowd noise added. I think they performed that live, but that's not the audio TOP uses, which is weird.

It's easy to see in this performance particularly why a lot of rock n' roll girls idolize Shirley Manson (and probably still do). She always had a great "slutty, but not desperate" look to her. Her lyrics were uplifting to a certain demographic of outsiders who needed to here it. Plus, she's fantastic on the mic. She knows how to move to the music and work the crowd without pausing the song or compromising her voice. Throws some hot little jumps in there that are cute but also totally rock n' roll. The girl was the rock queen of the 90s.
