Elzani id like to apologize to you because when you were struggling some of us didn’t believe you could do it without professional help. We didn’t have faith in you and it must’ve been so difficult to get through each day knowing that people were criticizing you. All you wanted was support and some of us didn’t offer that to you. However you proved us wrong and showed that you could battle this eating disorder by yourself and with the help from your beautiful family. I am genuinely so proud of you and happy to see where you are today in a better mindset ❤️

This might be the second time I've ever commented on something on KZbin. Elzani, I had to fight back tears throughout the whole video. I am so, so undeniably proud of you and all of the conscious effort you've put into getting your life back. I once was jealous that you were able to recover like this but by watching you more, I'm less jealous and just downright grateful for your inspiration and motivation that made me take my own recovery more seriously. "Celebrate because you had a great sleep last night." Sounds good, I will and will make a cake today. I don't even know you and yet I love you all too much.

“How ridiculous that we wait for time to pass, for certain events” That snapped me out of my daze a little bit. I’m incredibly ambitious when it comes to big goals in the future, but I’m not focussing on being ambitious in the moment. I need to start making the best decisions I can, even when it comes to minor situations, like what to have for breakfast, instead of thinking that I’m living my life because I make good decisions when I’m out with friends or at school. Life carries on, even when I’m at home alone, even when it’s raining outside, even when it’s 10 weeks until Christmas and I have to ‘save up’. I made this realisation yesterday when I was listening to a Joe Rogan podcast episode - I don’t want to live a mundane life that repeats itself every day, every week, every year. I may seem ambitious from an external perspective, and like an individual that pursues only the best, but to be honest, that isn’t applicable to my daily life, and I’m now going to resolve that. Thanks for kicking me in the arse

What you said about us only having one life "this is it, it's happening right now" is the most important thing to always remember. I am currently in recovery from anorexia and sometimes I slip back into old thinking patterns but then I say to myself "you only have this one life. You are fucking it up. Eat.". Unfortunately I also have severe ptsd and try to manage life, trauma and recovery with way-too-late-diagnosed adhd on top of everything. I'm also a lot older than you (27 this november) and I live alone. So sometimes I feel so hopeless and like it's too late to get it right, to find joy in life. But watching your videos always makes me so happy and gives me strength for the next day. This made me cry again and I'm so so so incredibly happy for you. You are helping so many people

Absolutely LOVED this voice over and inspirational speech (can you call it that) so encouraging and really puts it all into perspective. All of the hard work you have put into your recovery has enabled you to be able to come to this realisation and it's amazing.... Elzani you truly are an inspiration ❤️ You are such a beautiful person inside and out and I'm soo glad you have found yourself and no longer care about societal norms and unhealthy social media influencers. Finding good freedom again is fantastic. If makes me want to go right now and eat all the things I want without worrying about it and just ENJOYING IT!!!!! The misery of the way the anorexia sets in is so relatable and the experience of being so ill is such a reminder of the unhappiness of anorexia and how dull life becomes. All those amazing things we miss, aww Elzani this made me feel so happy and comforted inside. I don't want to miss any more of life..... I am in quasi recovery probably if I'm honest. However, I'm still trapped. I see that now.... I want to go further, push harder and get that freedom. I don't have a supportive family but I can still enjoy life, especially with friends.... Thank you so much for reminding me of this ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Keep enjoying your life sweetie and celebrating every moment. You're amazing 🙏🌠❤️

Love this Elzani. You nailed it when you spoke about happiness. It isn't something we should wait for depending on whether or not certain things happen. It's great to have goals, and to feel good when we achieve them, but we also need to be happy with what we already have, right here and now. I am so proud of how far you've come Elzani, and I can't wait to see how much more you will accomplish in life. I swear to God I think you might be destined to be a chef. Wouldn't that be the most ironically awesome thing ever? To go from being eating disordered to making your living from your enjoyment of food? You're definitely a natural teacher. I’m so glad you lived to tell your story to the world, you survived and now you help to inspire so many others, including myself. I guess for you it was something like when people have a heart attack and almost die, or people that have woken up from a coma and now they have a different outlook on life. Thank you for your wisdom and happiness ♥️xx

This made me want to cry the happiest of tears. I am so so so so proud of you Elzani. I have been here since the very beginning. I decided to follow along in recovering when you did and it made me feel like I had a friend so I didn’t gave to do it alone. So much love for you and I have never met such a grateful and loving person💛

Never would I say that what you went through was a good thing, but your struggles were a blessing in disguise because you now have this amazing perspective on life because of it. Your words were eye opening!

I'm in recovery at the moment and I really have problems with bloating and that stuff, but when I have my phone I always watch your videos. You always find the best words. And you motivate me everyday to keep on going. To follow the rules. To eat. And I think that you are one of the reasons why I'm in recovery now. I wanted to be as strong as you are. You look so happy now and you eat. YOU EAT! This is so fascinating to me and I want that to. I want to eat without thinking about calories or without thinking about the thoughts of the others. I want to be happy and energetic again. That's my motivation. Thank you so much ❤️
