HOW DID YOU KNOW?! Every week it's like you're anticipating exactly what I need to hear with every video! Also, this was 10/10 wholesome and wonderful.

Thanks so much, Lesley!! So happy this week’s video hit the mark, and a good reminder that Yale professors are normal people like the rest of us too 😂🙌🏻❤️

Em & Lloyd, you both are so wholesome, supportive and beautiful people. You give off mom & dad energy, thank you for 'adopting' juniors like us who are navigating such a difficult season in our life x

Love this! Great stuff to highlight! Would also add the first step of even recognizing one’s burnt out is super important. Often times in many industries (coupled with the Asian culture if you’re on this side of the world), being burnt out is a sign of being weak/soft so you choose to ignore or hide it but eventually it becomes too late. The longer it takes for you to confront it the more you’re just going to spiral down the black hole!

Thanks so much, DJ! And totally agreed, it definitely makes the problem worse when cultures of "toughness" or other types of gaslighting make us think we need to just push through when we're struggling. Identifying burnout and practicing self-care early on are essential for recovery and avoiding the more nefarious consequences of long term burnout 🙌
