Hi there. Could you tell me is there an option to unbind Emax Hawk 5 from Taranis Q x7? It did connect it once and now having trouble to do it again. Taranis was reseted few times already but can't bind it again. Thanks in advance

I see yours has what looks like more camera protection than mine does. That must be a recent update I've only had mine about 6 weeks. Weird but I like it. Also you can put the antenna under the canopy and just stick the tip out and zip tie it down to shorten that thing. Reception will be just as good. I even ran mine with the ant down the rear arm on motor 3 just zip tied to it for a bit. Wasn't bad but definitely better reception with it sticking out the top a bit. You definitely get different flight characteristics with different props. I've done a lot of testing lately and I keep going back to the Avan Flow. To me they really do feel the best. I've tried hq 5x4.3x3, hq 5x4.8x3, hq 5x5x3, HQ 5.1x4.6x3, gemfan hulkie 5055, and cyclone 5046's. So far my faves are the avans and the hq 5.1x4.6x3. The hawk is a 100mph quad even on stock everything. I love it. And yes the amp readings and mah are correct. I don't get the oscillation you got on yours. Hmm. Same tune too. But on a 1550 tattu 4s I can get 5 mins cursing or 2 and a half really pushing it. It's great for both racing and acro but I do prefer top mount for freestyle but lately I haven't even touched my freestyle rig due to the hawk and my babyhawk. Soon I'm upgrading to the RSII 2306 2400.

Your video description sums it up well. The Batman seems to be worth the extra money, but this is a great alternative if the budget is tight.

honestly I think the EMAX is a much better kwad. The stack is a system that they sell a LOT of. proven components and easy to replace. have some fun and buy the "chicken" canopy. ! I have the EMAX stack on a number of other kwads its my goto. NEV ER a problem !

You can change the modes to whatever you like.

That all depends on how your radio is setup. Most likely it won't match up exactly. You might not even be able to arm it, or it might arm when you plug it in, so don't plug it in with props on if you don't plan to change the settings to match your radio.... in fact if you don't plan to change settings or can't plug it into a computer, please don't buy this... what you are doing is actually dangerous.

@@AlbertKimTV Ok, Albert. Sorry, but I have it already on my way. Usually I program my new Frsky models on me green Qx7, and fly it. Or the same on the Flysky. Then I fly. All the models that I have FORTUNATELY DOES NOT NEEDED betraflight. The majority of them are just fine, with all the 3 modes funtioning. Some, like the kk fly egg 130 arrived with just angle. Other like the Ar 95 pro never armed, as today. Sorry if I don' t have a new computer, Albert. Sorry if I innocently upsetted you, was not my intention. Mine was just a simple question. Chill, I will not harm you for sure with me quads, there is an ocean in the between. Hehe! Happy flying & hurry up! Cheers

I made no adjustments, no changes, no flashing. I flew it exactly the way it came out of the box. If you want to change stuff and flash and do adjustments even thought its completely unnecessary, that's up to you.

I have an akk 800 mw vtx. How hard would it be to replace the vtx in the magnum stack with the akk. ?

It would require desoldering some pins. I would say moderately difficult. Definitely not an easy swap.

Yeah I did that to the eachine Aurora 100 when switching from flysky to frsky. And that was a 20 by 20 stack. I bought it based on your recommendation Albert and still love it today. But that took the patience of a monk to get off.

Thanks for the vids for a total beginner who crashes a lot. Which drone would be best the TransTEC FROG or this one Emax Hawk 5? I am thinking the frog might be a little stronger. My first drone is stuck up in a tree about 55meters up only did about 12 packs in it and it was already falling apart (Tovsto Falcon 210) so looking for a stronger drone.

Your whip antenna is in big danger mounted like that. Hitting some branch from below could draw out the locktie and it will swing right into the props

Yeah, it's not the best and most secure method. I have already taken the antenna off and will use the SMA adapter anyway.

Im really interested in purchasing my first quad now. I would appreciate your professional opinion in which quad is a better buy, the emax hawk 5, batman 220 or for the same amount the budget kit : store.rotorriot.com/bardwells-budget-build-kit/ I understand that building your own quad goes a long way and it help you understand the components etc, but besides that , in terms of bang for buck, which is superior and which has better parts? I would just get the Hawk5. It's already built and those components are just as good if not better. The Batman220 is better than both but also the most expensive.
