Great review. After a year and a half I’m still flying my hawk 5. I love that rig. Yes I prefer my regular racer the arc one with revoltosd stack and Xilo 2207 1750’s but the hawk 5 was with me when I started racing last year and it’s got me on the podium a few times in sportsman class. It’s been pretty tough too. I’m just not starting to hear the bearings of the stock ls2206 2300’s go out on 2 motors. But I’ve the the RSII 2306 2400s to remedy that. I just wonder how this new hawk compares to the old one. I know the frame of the old one has been tough as hell for me and I’ve never broken a thing on it except props and 2 antennas. 😃👍

I like using 1900kv myself. T motor f80 pro 1900kv powered by t motor f55 4-1 esc is a killer combo

I have many higher spec racing quads than the emax pro 6s which I got as a birthday present but it’s a blast to fly around. I didn’t care for the receiver it came with, especially how they left that little antenna wire hanging in back to get chopped. But overall, emax did it again coming out with a great value racer that can compete.

Awesome video! If if I paid you could you walk me through some basic stuff. I’m a newb but already obsessed and having trouble unlocking the vtx on my hawk pro and binding. Any help would be awesome I’m just ready to get flying with my hawk pro! I’ve been flying the tiny hawk 2 freestyle and just received the pro today and couldn’t figure it out! I’ll pay for your time and knowledge or to be pointed in the direction! I just wanna get flying!!!

Can 4s,5s,6s be used on the sport that has the 1700kv eco motos,without tuning anything ? I know the 1700kv eco motors are rated at 3-6s but I just want some clarification.

@@professionalracingleague3828 yes, you have to solder a reciever. The pro is the only one that come with it. I use frsky xm+ . I will upgrade later to the frsky r-xsr one, is smaller

I got my hawk today with no info in box of course and the rx has a white button not the golden surface press type on xm I thought. Is the white bind button rx frsky or another type?

@@TheRCAddict Thanks man! I did not see green light under vtx. It is bound to my DJT turnigy 9x now LOL! I thought it would come D16 good surprise. Same rx as 2" babyhawk. Now to get betaflight up and figure out arming switch as they seem to be assigned already. Testing props off of course!

@@TheRCAddict The sticks on my 9x are not matching the channels on the hawk thus no arm I guess. Throttle is roll stick and pitch is throttle. No idea how to fix that.

Just have to switch around either the channel output or your transmitter or in BF move the R E T A around till they match.
