I think it depends on how the creator decide to open up. There are some who just say "yeah i have a bf/gf", just to basically mean "sorry, i'm taken". The couples that works are usually the ones who open up more on it. Sharing story about it, or even just with the soulmates sometimes appearing. I don't think they truly are mad because they have a gf/bf. I think it's more of a "i'm sure i am better than his/her soullmate"/ "she deserve better".

This entire video is very cute and heartwarming! Reminds me of the early days when me and my now wife met. Many years ago, we met on an online game, texted each other for about 6 months, and then met. Hearing your stories reminded me of how awkward it really is to finally meet someone who you've been talking to for so long. "Will their personality be the same as it is online?" I met my wife in Tokyo. I am american, she is german. We had been talking for 3 or 4 months before meeting IRL, and I was stationed in northern Japan with the Military. She flew in to Japan, and I went down to Tokyo to meet her. We got married 5 years after the initial meeting. So I basically know exactly what you are talking about. We DID skype though, so it wasn't like I had never seen her before, but its totally different when its with your own eyes, and not through a camera lens.
