Even though I’ve only been in a relationship for 7 months, here’s my advice that you’ve probably already heard: don’t get into a relationship for the sake of being in a relationship. If you get a partner just for the sake of having them while not loving them back is a recipe for disaster. If you genuinely love someone and want to start a relationship, go for it! But don’t get into romance without loving the other person. You don’t need to be in a relationship to be happy. I wasn’t looking for a bf, just the right person walked into my life at the right time. And now I have someone who will watch the illumination Duck movie with me when the rest of my family won’t :)

3:55- I used to feel the same way. Guys would end up having crushes on me but I just never felt anything towards them. Ive never had a crush on anyone and I too craved to be in a relationship one day and experience that. Towards the end of my sophomore year of highschool, I met this guy and we would talk everyday and he would walkways go out of his way to compliment me and get to know me. For some reason, beyond explanation, he was just… different from the rest. And he asked me out and I said yes. I didn’t know if I felt anything toward him, just that he felt different. But eventually I came to fall in love with him. I found out I was demisexual. And also, being demisexual doesn’t mean everyone you make a connection with you will have a crush on. Also, I’ve never found anyone attractive/unattractive either until I got together with him. He is the most beautiful man I’ve ever met. Although, I’m still dating him, so I don’t have experience beyond this. My advice is to stop worrying because you have a lot of life yet. You may feel behind but it’s perfectly normal and you’re not the only one.

As add-on advice to the last story/question: Completely understand wanting to make your first kiss special and wanting it to be with someone that you like. Definitely match energies and let him lead but also remember if your first kiss is a little awkward that’s totally okay. It’s a learning process. And it definitely won’t be the last time that you’ll kiss your boyfriend. My first kiss was with my current boyfriend and it was a little awkward (mainly cause I didn’t know how to kiss - so it was more of a peck 😅) but with time and practice, you start to understand how to go with the flow.
