I Think that was the second time that happened to Kane when he came out to "save" Taker from DX at Royal Rumble 98 he brought his arms down and again nothing happened then he turned on Taker and carried on that looked even more weird with the mask on and people in the front row with their fingers plugged in their ears waiting on the boom haha.

I believe Randy was supposed to point at the sign from the turnbuckles, which is why the pyro didn't hit until he went there. As a production guy myself I empathize when these blunders happen.

I Remember another time they played the wrong music Backlash 00 Crash Holly had successfully defended his Hardcore Championship in a 6 man match and after he got 123 instead of his music the Hardy Boyz theme played who were 2 of his 5 challengers that night the last time I watched it on peacock they had the correct music playing that was hilarious though🤣.

You are wrong about Brock and Randy's Rumble troubles; both ARE still on the Network as they were on the original DVD releases; and Randy was meant to stand on the turnbuckles, which was one of Vince/Dunn's many senseless rules they had embolisms over; in the live version, you see Charles Robinson have to tell him, and he has one of his characteristic blow-ups at him before standing on the buckle and pointing. Hilariously, a year later, Edge just pointed while holding on to the ropes, and they set it off no problem... 🤣🤣🎆🎇💥💥
