Self Management Week, the ALLIANCE's annual Self Management Celebration, is a national awareness raising initiative highlighting self management activity across Scotland. Self management refers to a way of living and working that means people living with long term conditions feel more in control of their health and wellbeing. The Self Management Programme has long been an area of partnership working between the ALLIANCE and the Scottish Government, most notably via the Self Management Fund which the ALLIANCE administers on behalf of the Scottish Government.
