In 2006 on a trip to Tahoe, my friend and I took a day trip up to Downieville about a week before the race. Our shuttle to the top consisted of the 2 of us and some other guy, unbeknownst to us at the time, it was Mark Weir. When we arrive at the top and unload, we are suiting up and we look up and here goes this guy riding a manual outta the parking lot and onto the the trail. We look at the driver and he says, that guy has won the Downieville Downhill the past 3 years. Started watching everything about him after that.

Steve. You were in my backyard. Did you get in The Flume Trail or Mr. Toads Wild Ride at Lake Tahoe while traversing from Downieville to Death Valley? More epic rides!

Problem is the US Forest Service considers ebikes motorized vehicles and has banned them from many trails. But as you found, there are a lot of opportunities for those adventurous enough to go out and try.

Why don't you have a hulu or something listing? This is top notch stuff. Edit: Do you do your own editing and whatnot? This is so much more well thought out and presented than some of the greatest stuff I've watched since YT started.
