Hi, it appears she is using a ball point pen Athmar. I think I might try that. I didn’t realize it worked so well on aluminum.

It's a Prismacolor Ebony Graphite Pencil (more expensive than regular pencils)

Hello Laura, can you please tell me what is the guage / thickness of the foil that you are using? I have plans & ideas to build small scale cars, similar to old school model etc...I'm planning to experiment with disposable cooking foil pans, maybe even Embossing Foil- Aluminum. What are some of the best Embossing Aluminum to use, strength & flexibility?

Hi Berry, I think it was 10 or 12 gage. It is pretty thick. Hope it works out :)
