We're so glad you like it! Kids sure do like to argue, don't they? But, of course, we never did as children. ;) That's what I always tell my mother anyway. haha. - Morgan

Watching this video, I was reminded of the handkerchiefs that my Grandmother used to make and then hand embroider. Have you ever done a video demonstrating how to make these dainty ladies’ hankies? I’d love to try it myself, but not even sure what kind of fabric to use. Would love your input. Thanks.

Hi MaryAnn! Thank you for watching! We have not done a handkerchief video however, I will pass your suggestion on to our video team! Stay safe! ~Leah

I'd like tips on keeping the backside clean also as I was always taught not to put knots in the thread. I haven't done hand embroidery in so many years, I ordered this kit to try it again! I did not order the lightbox just yet though as I am not sure how much hand embroidery I will be doing and it is quite expensive. If I enjoy it and want to continue, I may order that later on. I used to do counted cross-stitch for years, but had an Aunt that did this type embroidery and her family still has some of the items she made. Thanks for another great instructional video!

I heard that if your ric rac is 100% polyester (PLEASE check packaging) you can pass a butane lighter across the end to seal it. No glue, no sew, no messy liquid and it won't fray. I haven't used ric rac yet but when I do, I'll be trying the lighter method.

I'd like tips on keeping the backside really clean. Do you have a lot of small knots for the stitches? How far do you carry your floss? That kinda stuff.

Thank you for that request! I'll let our team know you'd like to see that in our next embroidery video. :) - Morgan

Do you not use an embroidery hoop or were you not using it so you could film it better? I didn't know about the Lazy Daisy stitch, thanks!

Jen doesn't typically use an embroidery hoop, but you certainly can! So glad to hear you learned something new! Thank you for watching. :) - Morgan

Very nice project. Do you know the color name of the Ric Rac, and can we buy a larger quantity on its own from you?

Hello! Thank you for watching! Unfortunately we do not know the specific name of the ric rac as it does come to us in prepackaged kits from Bareroots. They may have some more information on their site! Stay safe! ~Leah

Hi Nancy! Thank you for watching! You can definitely use an embroidery hoop for this hand towel! Jen prefers to not use a hoop for these however, it just comes down to personal preference. Stay safe and happy stitching! ~Leah

Did you wash the towel before embroidering or after to lock in stitches? That is an adorable idea for kitchen towels.

Hello! Thank you for watching! Step 1 says to prewash your towel so it can shrink before you stitch. Let us know if you have any other questions! Stay safe! ~Leah
