Getting very close. Cut the "PAWN" out of aluminum. Went well. Had to limit the Max CSS to 3500RPM.

What is the total cost of this retrofit? Have the same lathe at my ready. I'm sure this same upgrade will be needed. Thanks

If you do it exactly as I did, plan on spending close to $2500 in parts. No one ever thinks of cost and all the components needed.

I did just the cnc part for less than 400 and another 200 for Mach3 (steppers not servos and no hall sensors)

the cnc ver. is, not the manual. the manual is not even acme threads its just screw threads and small at that..

The original motor and spindle pulley was reused. The countershaft was removed.
