I agree 110%. Nothing out there beats RMJ and their tomahawks, not even custom ones! 🤩 I do like the Winkler Sayoc as well but in throwing it the scales can come off I have experienced 😬 Both the RMJ Shrike and the RMJ Eagle Talon I have put through anything and every thing and they are as good as the day I bought them! 🤩😍

I have had my Shrike for about three years now. It’s a great farm tool. Goes everywhere with me. I bought some soft loop snaps to attach it to my hill people gear chest rig (the provided loops are a tad too long). When I don’t have my chest rig on, I have a magnetic tool plate on my belt small of back area.

Depends on your application of use, I mainly throw tomahawks and my old beat up shrike has been an amazing thrower, my favorite thrower is probably the toor bawker but the shrike is a close second. For throwing 14-15 is generally the shortest you want to go. However if you are looking to back pack with this I would probably go with the s13 for the smaller footprint and lighter weight. If you are just looking for general use though I would stick with the standard shrike because it's an absolute tank. Also he loved it, it made him tear up which made his wife sob because he isn't an emotional guy and then I started crying to see how happy it made him and we were all just a trio of blubbering idiots.

@RedwolfEDC That's awesome, man! Sounds like it was well received! Yes I plan to take it for camping and backpacking but I would get the stronger one even if I had to carry a few more ounces. The one in the video was the S13 right?

When it comes to carrying, “sometimes” I would prefer the S13. However, in terms of use, I am absolutely happy with the standard Shrike. I have a CRKT Rune (RMJ design) for small tomahawk use.

RMJ? No they are defined still around and one of the biggest in our industry. They just do drops and everything sells out almost immediately. You can find some stuff available on monkey edge right now and there is plenty available in the Facebook groups.
