Engine fire? Smoke in the cockpit? Or a severe electrical failure in flight? We had it all and more during the MCC course! The multi crew cooperation course, or MCC, is the last part of my integrated ATPL training. It focuses on learning to operate in a multi crew environment, strengthening teamwork, communication and cooperative decision making skills. It's also a chance to get a first glimpse into operating and handling emergencies in an airliner - in my case the Boeing 737 MAX 8.

I’m currently in an IATPL program in Ontario, Canada. This stage of training for us is done in the King Air and Bombardier/Mitsubishi CRJ simulator.
