Enraged monsters will change up their moveset. Be careful! Have you considered evade extender? It might help. Also consider using endemic life more. It'll help. One last thing. Dango tickets will give Moxie a 90% chance of activating!!

I'd like to provide a list of some endemic life and their effects, specifically those effecting monsters directly: -Bugs: there are four types of elemental bugs, -fire bug inflicts fire blight, a DOT that also makes monsters easier to flinch -water bug inflicts water blight, which softens the monster and improves physical hitzone values -thunder bug inflicts thunder blight, which allows non blunt weapons to stun the monster. inflicting this blight is almost always a guaranteed stun as long as you hit the head -ice bug inflicts ice blight, slowing down monsters as long as they aren't exhausted -toads again four types of toad, -nitro toad causes a small explosion that causes monsters to fall over if they get hit -para toad causes paralysis -sleep toad causes sleep -poison toad poisons the monster Whenever I am collecting endemics I always look out for thunder and water bugs and nitro toads

Rathalos punishing your wirefall muscle memory really bad :P I'd recommend fighting him more in prep to Sunbreak because Capcom heard we saying wirefall was too OP and went on to give a lot of monsters combo moves to punish insta wirefall. I loved the song during the kill hunt. Having played IG in Rise I never realized how Apex Rathalos could be such a nuisance to other blademaster weapons

Apex Rathalos easily is the second hardest Apex. It really is just a difficulty spike, not unfair or anything like it. I fought him the first time with Hammer and GS without any counters. I just started using all of the Endemic Life, etc to get an easier start. Without that you make it automatically harder for yourself. Oh, and small advice for the Axe Hopper, maybe try doing the second attack later, delay it a bit so you have more time for aiming the attack and if case the monster moves early, it can really help

Oh, youtube recommended me a fellow CB main. I'll likely go back to Sunbreak after finishing Iceborne achievements. Have over a thousand hours in this damn thing, if a game deserves 100% from me it's this.

10 minutes of repeating the same mistake lmao. Also does no one just sit back and watch the monsters attack? Quite possibly the easiest way to learn patterns and openings although I understand you have an audience to entertain so its not always an option. Apexs are odd since they're not required for any substantial progress although I needed the materials of rathalos apex sacks for decorations in which I just used rampages to farm him.
