I love meals in jars! I loaded jars up with simple things for the grandbabies... freeze dried mac and cheese, homemade spaghetti, and fruit! (not all in one jar of course) :)~

We freeze dry our eggs too, we love them! At least when im old and cannot go to the store, we will have plenty to eat on. Ive been thinking a lot of how much food has gone up, social security isnt going to be enough when i retire, weve been working so hard with our garden this year and trying to double our payments when we can. Thank you Mary🥰 Showered and curled my hair. I feel like a new woman coming out of this long winter slumber. Still having stomach/pancreas pain a few times a month- not much I can do about it- we believe it’s endometriosis in my pancreas!!! So just have to watch what I eat and manage the pain when it flares. 😅

I purchased a freeze dryer about 6 months ago and I love it. It opens up so many options for preserving my garden's produce and herbs. I never seem to run out of things to freeze dry. The meals in a jar are my favorite. I think meat taste better, or at least the texture is better, freeze dried over canning. This collaboration has been full of great ideas. Haven't tried making yogurt in the instant pot, will have to give that a try.

I make a lot of yogurt with instant pot it's better than store bought I think, mellower taste. High fat % in the milk works best I've found.

@susiebyler5226 it’s definitely not a comfortable thing to put yourself out there. I question myself every day. I never watch my videos once posted either- I can’t do it! And when people I know in real life say they watch my channel- I get embarrassed!! It’s not easy for me to film and edit either but I do it cause I have to make an earning to help support my family and this is the best way I know how. Thankful it has kicked in right when I need it most. Keep going!! Don’t quit even when it seems like an uphill battle- keep going! You’ll figure it out! I still don’t know what I’m doing. 🫣

I would get that unless space is an issue then the small may be a more suitable model. This video may be helpful. That looks good for a instant breakfast, I've been freeze drying a while and grow my own blueberries and even when you pierce the skins they still take a long time because of sugars in them.
