Gosh, it’s reasonable to be nervous-that pain is no joke. Increased estrogen levels with pregnancy creates the perfect environment for gallstone and slowing of the gallbladder. I hate you had to go through that and so glad baby is well! ❤️

Your nurse is absolutely right gall bladder issues are so common with pregnant women. My best friend had horrific pain when she was pregnant with her last son, she eventually had it taken out after she delivered her baby. I’m sure you will be fine 🙏🏾 for you and the bby. You’re a gorgeous woman Ashley 💕. I can’t believe I watched y’all while living in nyc so many years ago and now you guys are married and having a bby (congrats)!!

Ahhh thank you so much for commenting. You’ve been with me for so long 😭🥰 Your poor friend. Luckily that’s the only attack I had. I can’t imagine constant gallbladder pain while being pregnant. Not fun

Sometimes nuts can cause a flare up with gall bladder. My culprit was actually iced tea. Pregnancy is so different for everyone and each day can be it’s very own journey. It’s like your body is preparing you for the fact that raising a baby is like an ongoing science project 🤣. I’m so happy to know your ok and feeling better. ❤️

So sorry about your trip to the hospital! That’s so scary! I had a kidney infection when I was 24 weeks pregnant maybe? I had a fever and was so dehydrated Because I couldn’t keep anything down because of the pain but all I could think about was the baby. But the crazy thing is, is the doctors and nurses said that your baby is taken care of first. Your body knows to protect the baby becAuse they are so dependent on you. So all my baby experienced was kind of like being in a hot tub (with the fever). Anyways can totally relate to you on that level, but can’t imagine not having my husband with me when going through the roller coaster of emotions that you go through! Also I had such a fear about sleeping on my back, but my doctor also told me that if I was sleeping on my back and something was happening to me or the baby because I was sleeping on my back, then I would either wAke up, or I would subconsciously move. So 🤷🏼♀️ Did you find out what you were having? Did I miss that somehow? So exciting!❤️

I have issues with kidney stones and I have gall stones. I found potatoes can be a culprit for me. So happy your doing better!!💕

I would have never thought! I get potato soup cravings all the time, but I’ll try to avoid for the rest of my pregnancy 😖

Ten years ago, I had gall bladder issues and then had it removed. I can't imagine being pregnant as well! Come to think of it..the pain was more unbearable with gall stones than giving birth twice!!! (and I had no pain relief during labor)

Oh a bad gallbladder is painful! I had mine removed and it’s a fairly easy surgery to recover from. Just like you I don’t eat that fatty of foods and I still had issues. If it needs to come out you should be okay, my dads a general surgeon and takes gallbladders out of pregnant women all the time. Sounds like you have great doctors who will take care of you.

Two rooms! I’ve heard of people doubling up to make it more fluffy but I can imagine it would be pretty toasty to sleep in 🥵
