if the movie does good and there is a sequel, I would like them to have Kraven hunt a dangerous supervillain(like Carnage for example, even though he already was used) and something goes inadvertently wrong because of something Spiderman did and makes Kraven go full bad-guy villain by the end of the movie. Post-Credit we see Kraven meet up with the Vulture, Morbius and the rest of the Sinister Six(or whatever they are calling themselves) and plan to take down spiderman for doing them wrong. Or something like that

@@bironjames9948 ig you don't know the definition of 'character development'. Venom has been around for decades, and got really popular to have multiple comic storylines, even a Venom: The End. The Eddie-Venom chemistry totally works too so liking the character or not is upto you, the writers, though with inconsistency, still did a pretty good job with venom and the other symbiotes

Morbius was poorly planned out, and it should've been played more like a modern vampire movie than making him out to be an anti hero comic book character who happens to be a vampire. Plus, his motivations at the end to join Vulture in forming the sinister six to take out Spider-Man makes no sense considering the morbius we got had no connection with Spider-Man, so why would he be interested? Honestly, I hope future movies ignore that end credit scene, and roll with Vulture still being in the MCU. Just say that one Michael Keaton version in the Morbius end credit was a variant that wasn't from the MCU, and boom. Problem solved.

Actually the movie did do less than it usually would but the venom movie had a 120m budget & did 213 domestically & 506m worldwide so did it underperform the last ones yes but it didn't flop they recouped a good amount but not enough to keep the franchise going it will keep dipping

Marvels problem is they've been searching for their Batman, and it was never Iron Man. Spiderman was always the breadwinner, and they lost sight of that for a while. They're back on the right track if you ask me.

Iron Man was their Batman for awhile, but the problem is Feige and the rest of the people running the MCU seem to have this fixated idea that recasts for certain characters are bad. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if they're reluctant to recast Iron Man again, even after Secret Wars, as they may just elect to have Iron Heart take over that Iron Man role in the MCU instead, with the way they handle things. I think the MCU will be fine in the long run. However, Sony needs to get it's act together because a lot of their films with Spider-Man based characters recently have been hit or miss, with the majority of them missing the mark than anything. Plus, I wouldn't be so sure about Batman and the DC right now. We still don't know how well James Gunn's DCU will do. And even though I predict his Superman film will do well, I don't think it's going to make a billion dollars, or close to it honestly. Maybe if the movie is good, then it's sequel might be a billion dollar film, but not the first movie though. Plus with WB's track record of sequels to their DC ips recently flopping, there's no guarantee that Matt's Batman sequel will do well. I hope it does, but we'll see.

If the Kraven movie is decent and Aaron Taylor Johnson does a phenomenal job, Sony should bring back one of the older Spider-Man actors, I would prefer Toby McGuire but Andrew Garfield would do great as well, and give us the movie we deserve. Sony's main issue with it's films have been terrible writing, but for this movie they should make almost no alterations. Simply adapt Kraven's Last Hunt faithfully. It is one of the greatest Spider-Man stories ever told and would do great box office numbers because the story is just that compelling. I know that is impossible for Sony to do though because they meddle so hard with these film, but that is why they all end up horrible. Just stick with the amazing source material Sony, that is all that is needed to make a phenomenal film.
