Great video, but let me make a suggestion. I air fry french fries with the mesh basket, it would be a nuisance to use the stacking rack. I remove the lid about half way through and shake the mesh basket, place it back in the machine, and finish the cycle. They come out great. Thanks.

There is no mesh basket. I showed you all the accessories that came with it. You have the set with the mesh basket. I mentioned mine is from Sam's Club, cost much less and only has certain accessories. I don't need the basket. I have no issue using tongs to rotate or remove things.

I bought this unit and returned it because the fan was loose and rattling really loud. Still waiting for my refund to appear and its has been several weeks. Tristar customer service can be difficult, I've dealt with them before. Instant Pot now has a 8 qt. pressure cooker called the duo crisp, with a crisp lid attachment. Going to give it a try when it is released. Thank you for your review.

Bacteria WILL NOT get on your food. It will still be super hot, since you have the vent closed the whole time. Anyways, thanks for making this. It is very thorough. The fan is not to get it cooler in air frying mode. The air circulates and thats how you make your food crunchy. When you ate the fries, its easy to hear that its really crunchy. Great video!

When I speak about the fan cooling things, listen to the context. It's the time after the cook and it is for cooling after the cook. We all know about it circulating air during the cook 🤓 I know you don't have the manual, but it mentions all of that. You may be able to search online and find a digital copy of the manual. I think they even have it in the Q&A of the cooker's website.

Thank you. Very informative and clear. Just got mine (also have a Foodi and IP), BF @Sams $119 !!!. Can’t beat that. It seems to be less intuitive than the Foodi or IP. I like the other features (canning!) and might actually try the presets. I have to admit I have never used the water test. Have not found that to be a problem. Thank you again for a great video.

Plenty of people reached destinations safely before we wore seatbelts. But we learned it's good to wear them and have air bags too 🙂👍🏿

Also other than the Air Fry lid ....the Emeril looks identical in features to the Power Quickpot. The Power Quickpot however only has a single High Pressure option and does not include Low Pressure option. Is that the same for the new Emeril or did they take customer feedback and add low pressure?

The air fryer lid on this Emeril Pressure Air Fryer is much larger than the Mealthy CrispLid, as shown in the video. So it's going to cover more area more evenly. But I understand if you already have a CrispLid, you probably aren't going to run to get this 🙂👍🏿 Glad you enjoyed it.

Great product with fatal flaw. I'm not interested in anything but stainless steel pots and baskets. I don't care how good or safe the coating is supposed to be, I don't want it. Stainless steel or nothing. All coatings chip and all coatings get into your food. PTFE, PFOA free means nothing. You want to eat that coating?

I bought the pressure cooker a couple of months ago. I was gearing up for the canning season. Wanted canning to go faster and help me keep up with my gardening production. I truly prefer the wide mouth canning jars. I ran out of the wide mouth and started to use the regular canning jars. I did okey while I was canning things that I didn't use pressure cooker. When I started canning my free beans in the regular jars, that's when I discovered that the pressure cooker will not work. Emeril's pressure cooker is not tall enough for the regular mouth jars. There is about 1/2 inch difference in the height of the two jars. Soooo, I can't use it with regular mouth jars.

I like this because the crisper does not have halogen which is bad to cook with. Why I will not buy is because pot is not stainless steel. You should return it and get the one with stainless pot, they do have them. Make sure on pkg it says stainless steel inner pot.

True it's a 90 Day Money Back Guarantee. All the same, 90 days is all you get. I call them all the warranty, because a warranty is any form of guarantee. I spoke with a manufacturer rep. If purchased directly from them, they will offer a 1 year warranty for free. No mention of any options to buy a warranty from them if purchased elsewhere. They made it pretty clear there's a 1 year _only_ if purchased through them directly. A separate warranty from the manufacturer is not something they are promoting openly if such exists. So it may as well not be if it's in secret or something someone has to figure out. I got no such offer from the rep I spoke to. People on Amazon say lots of things. But what is written is what matters. It has not been selling on Amazon over 90 days yet. So nobody who purchased from Amazon has gone beyond 90 days. And the only thing written is the 90 day "money back guarantee". Amazon makes no mention of anything else unless purchased separately. Squaretrade will offer an extended warranty for anything. That's their business. It's a given. For me and my reviews, it all about *what is given out the box without the need to buy more* . Sometimes I may mention other options, but here it's 90 days that everyone gets for certain.

If you needed a replacement, yes. But the Emeril air fryer lid will not work with any other pressure cooker. It is not like the Mealthy CrispLid. It's really made for pressure cooking and air frying, not reheating. That's more of what a microwave oven would be for. You probably can reheat good with it, but that's not really what it is promoted to do. You can air fry frozen food as I have demonstrated in the video.

all the buttons are just a gimmick. I have an emeril pressure cooker that has a dial that sets a timer. All those other buttons are just a gimmic Just like an oven.

Actually, those buttons help set the needed settings faster. They are of some benefit.

Sick of hearing about the stupid instant pot. Its the same as ANY other pressure cookers. Looking for accessories for my emeril pressure cooker and everything is for the instant pot.
