This is my favorite of the works albums I just love the snappy energy of all the songs and tiger in a spotlight does make me chuckle and Greg Lake from time to time does show a bit of humor and fun in his lyrics and Tiger is Greg having a little bit of fun

This wasn't the end of Emerson though. He did do some good solo albums, in addition to three or four film soundtracks. I'm very surprised there aren't any posthumus works coming out.

Interesting… if there’s more music out there to hear would be wonderful!

@@statesandkingdoms well it depends what you’re into of course (it’s proper old school stop motion - and by Wes Anderson) and it’s f***ing perfect. Just saying. 😆

Somehow, this was one of your best reviews, and I'm not really a fan (covering up to block whatever those things are behind Jenna coming at me). Now, would you mind reaching over and just slowly flip some of those LPs forward??

For fifty three years I’ve listened to these amazing music. It never gets old. I will say this album did somewhat disappoint. The synergy these three had in their first 5 albums was missing. If you watch their history videos of back in the early days they were always together in the limousines or whatever. When they started to do their own things away from each other their music lost some of its passion. I will say Black Moon had some very strong moments. There were a couple politically correct songs on it, which I hate seeing bands do. All in all, I think their first five were untouchable. Critics were idiots concerning their reviews of them early on. Sad they weren’t in R & R Hall of Fame

I't's probably a good thing Tool hasn't released an album called Works, it would invite way too many nsfw jokes

My least favourite album of ELP along with “ In The Hot Seat “. Possibly, due to the fact that I already had a lot of the tracks elsewhere on single and b sides. It still has some great moments but, sounds a little disjointed. Some of the songs are weaker than “ Oh my Father “, a great track with superb vocals, poignant lyrics and excellent guitar….for some reason, never released on any album.
