Actually, they have a point. True, some musicians want people to take it however the listener wants, but it would be really stupid to say that thats always the point. It kinda takes away from music having any real purpose or goal. I was just at an Emery concert and in the middle of it they started talking about how their songs reflected our need for Jesus and how pitifully hopeless and filthy with sin we are without him.
