What a cool G1 toy! I mean, proper hip, knee, elbow, AND shoulder articulation? That's crazy for the time; Snapdragon is a perfect example of why I wish we'd get more reissues from post-1986 G1. At least they hinted that a new Snapdragon is coming at SDCC, though(according to seibertron, they said that Siege Apeface's 'partner is on the way'!). So I can't wait to see what that looks like.

If you want to do something about the scratches (and I'll understand if you don't), try a product called "Plexus". You can buy it online or from motorcycle shops. It's a plastic cleaner/polisher which can do some amazing things on scuffed or scratched plastic toys when used in tandem with a microfiber cloth. It also works great on CDs and DVDs with marked surfaces (probably BluRays as well, but they're harder plastic so I haven't seen them marked yet).

I didn't have Snapdragon as a kid, and nor did any of my friends so when I got him a few years back off eBay it was a particular joy.. I like the Loch Ness mode, I'll have to try that out.

Hello. I had this when I was a kid, back in 1996+. Although it was bootleg with all purple parts colored red, and chest part newer opened. I recall my parents or grandmother telling me that seller named it Sixshot. I think few sellers I talked to back then called all Headmasters Sixshot.

Im so happy to see you review Snapdragon. I still have mine from my childhood minus the wings and guns. I didn't know all these years to tuck the legs under the body in Beast mode. I will do that the next time I dig through my G1 toys. I too used to use the cockpit as a monster head. Glad to know I wasn't the only one.

Chakat Stripedfur honestly im glad they waited, the tech has advanced and now we will have two big decepticon bruisers to round out their forces. Especially with how amazing Springer is I cant wait to get my hands on these two. Comparing TR astrotrain to the Siege astrotrain and there is just no competition between the two which is better.

Him and Apeface were some of the least documented G1 toys 10 years ago, especially Snapdragon. Seibertron didn't have a gallery of him, and tfwiki didn't even have a single photo of him for YEARS. So glad that's finally being corrected nowadays.

Because of this toy I was not allowed to play with my friend. He lived with his catholic G-ma. He had this and about everything that came out of the sears catalog. In robot mode snapdragon’s dino neck flipped out. I got the blame she grabbed my ear and twisted as she threw me out. Memories:)
