Yeah, I love Impactor. I have him with his Powerdasher parts and holding Storm Cloud and Visper as a sword and he’s a beast. Like a gladiator. I’ll definitely be getting this kit.

For anyone who doesnt like how their slightly different colours, think of it this way; in WFC and FOC, the autobots and decepticons have little inner parts of their bodies that glow with energon or some other energy, even their autobot and decepticon insignias glow, this is just said energy glowing and making it lighter. Thats my headcanon.

The added detail is the best part of this kit. They really did a great job with the modeling, and the print quality looks awesome.

The only thing this kit does effect is when using the purple side leg attachments when in tank mode you will no longer be able to swivel the tank turret °360 any longer. The purple leg pieces get in the way of turning at all. Just FYI if that is something you like it to do, if not its a solid kit.

So I haven't seen this IRL, but the slight color discrepancy doesn't bother me; it seems like it adds a little bit a detail to the figure if you ask me. A Transformer wouldn't be molded from one piece and only use one material anyway, so there being slight variation is fine in my book

I have the Netflix repaint of Impactor, and the yellow pieces at the very least look like they'd be dark enough to blend better with the legs of that version. Might look into this upgrade kit.

Tempted to get this, really fixes those legs! Re the color matching, I'd be tempted to paint the leg inserts silver to really make them stand out if it can't match. They really seem to have upped their game on the fit on this one compared to some of the other videos I've seen of yours on other kits. Great job!

The legs are what need the fillers the most, but the other small space fillers are nice too.

Just got mine and wow what a difference. He was already a great mold, and this just takes it up a notch. I could have done without the cannon or purple thigh panels, but ... hey. Where'd the cannon go? I just took it off, it should be here somewhere... Anyway, I have the Decepticon version, and the thigh panels and cannon change could be enough difference to justify buying the Autobot version as a separate character if I can get him cheap somewhere. So thanks for the recommend. Money well spent.

Other than preventing the turret from rotating, I think it's a nice upgrade. Only other thing I would've liked is an included replacement head for the IDW style like the 3pk version.

I like that the color is off as it give him some more color in the legs it's kinda cool. If the yellow in the lag parts where a bit more yellow it would match the front leg. How ever it looks great as is. Watching the fillers you get let's me see them b4 I get them and see if I need to change it up a bit or fix things or glue them. Oh lastly if it looks good. Keep up the good work love all that you do and keep up the funny man and mascot make my days better.

I'd love this kit, but suspect it's extremely cost prohibitive for those of us not in the US. That said, the old cannon looks more faithful than the replacement for Marvel UK Impactor, while the replacement looks better for the IDW version of the character (which was the alt head version in the Amazon exclusive two-pack). In a perfect world, I'd get two of these and put the new cannon on the IDW version and leave the original one with his cannon as-is.

So uhhhmmm... they have gap fillers that neuter two of the 5mm ports on the back, leg additions that neuter the two side ports as well as preventing the turret from rotating, but didn't think it was worthwhile to throw in an IDWish head? Weird.
