I have a theory that emilie isn’t adrien’s mom but instead amilie. She had twins and didn’t want one of them and emilie couldn’t conceive. It would make sense as to why Gabriel treats him the way he does. He’s not his legitimate child. This would also give an explanation as to why adrien and Felix look so similar.

So Amilie and Emilie are identical twins. If Gabriel had an identical twin that is Felix’s biological dad then it explains why Felix and Adrien are identical. Because identical twins have the same genetic make up meaning their children can be identical too if I’m not mistaken. It’s definitely a push but I like the theory more. It’s definitely possible that Emilie is the true evil one of that family, especially when you look at the way her sister and nephew are. But then again, maybe Amilie is the evil one and Emilie was the good one who was simply curious about the peacock miraculous. Did Emilie know the peacock was damaged? Maybe. Would she have put two and two together and realize that her health was deteriorating because of using the damaged miraculous? Again maybe. I kinda want Emilie to be the villain. As much as I believe Adrien deserves a good parent, it’d make a fair amount of sense if he didn’t have one. I’ll do my best to explain why. As we know, Marinette and Adrien are made for each other. They’re two halves of a whole. They’re also opposites. If you invert the colors of their outfits, the colors match up. Marinette’s home is small, cozy, warm, and filled with love. Adrien’s home is spacious, empty, cold, and absent. Marinette has two amazing, supportive, loving, caring, always there parents. Tom and Sabine are legitimately _the most_ caring and affectionate parents I’ve seen on a TV show. So what if Adrien’s parents are the exact opposite? We already know Gabriel is cold, distant, neglectful, absent, unlistening, and rejecting of Adrien. Which is almost an exact opposite of Tom, who is always prepared to drop everything for his family. What if Emilie is dramatic, manipulative, demanding, tyrannical, and a dang good actress? Sabine seems laid back, calm, protective, supportive, and, if I remember correctly, usually stands directly besides Tom or behind him. She usually puts herself equal to Tom. Maybe Emilie is the opposite of Sabine. We don’t know much about Emilie besides the good things people say about her. Adrien always describes her well, but honestly what kind of kid (especially an emotionally abused child) would trash talk their dead mother? If you lose someone you love, regardless of how they treated you, you’re going to want to remember the good instead of the bad. Adrien might be the same way. So yeah. I kind of want both of Adrien’s parents to be bad parents. Emilie would make a really interesting villain. Besides, Tom and Sabine could always adopt Adrien and then BOOM he has the best parents ever.

I agree that Emilie could be the next main antagonist or at least is more than what she seems. She was a part of something secretive with Gabriel fifteen years ago, has a hand in Adrien’s psychological manipulation, and we don’t know why she was even using the Peacock Miraculous. In the beginning, it’s understandable why the Agreste would only look at her at a human, positive light considering it’s the situation where they lost a loved one and you can’t help but look at them in a positive light rather than see their flaws. Okay sure Gabriel does point out the flaws, but only because he knows she is not lost but rather in a coma. But as we learn how she fell to a coma, we begin to realize that there might be more to the stories. Emilie fell into a coma because she used the Peacock Miraculous, despite knowing that it was damaged. But we don’t know why she was using it. Was it to help people, and if so why, again? But then there’s also the reveal that she has been involved in the magical/Miraculous world since at least fifteen years. Actually this brings up a good question: what are the timeline between the Prodigious search and the Tibet expedition, and in which order did it occur? I’m gonna put out the theory that it might be the Tibet expedition first, and then the Prodigious search second. Which puts out the same question again: why are either of them doing it? Are they interested in the powers or just the existence of the magical world of the Miraculous? And why was Emilie using the Peacock Miraculous to begin with during the last fifteen years prior to the series? We saw that Nathalie quickly grew sick in one season, which I think the timeline was a couple of weeks to a month (the timeline is really mess up and I don’t really know). And considering if they have found it a long time ago, Emilie probably didn’t use the Peacock Miraculous frequently. Maybe at first Gabriel did know about the Miraculous being broken and forbidden anyone from using it, but Emilie goes against his back and uses it to become Le Paonne. The question is: why was Emilie using the Peacock Miraculous? There is so many questions that are left unanswered, and I hope we get at least some of them answered in the Gabriel Agreste episode or in a later episode of Season 4. Now I don’t know if I would call Emilie evil, but I would definitely agree we might be getting a new main antagonist that’ll replace Hawk/Shadow Moth. There was even a post for season 2 about how Hawk Moth has a boss, who makes Hawk Moth look like a baby in terms of villains. And I’m not saying Emilie is pure evil. I think she might have reasons that can be sympathetic and understandable, but she’s using actions that aren’t right. She might also be more of a threat as an antagonist than Gabriel/Hawk Moth. As a villain, I can imagine Emilie being someone whose manipulative in the terms of emotional, mental, and psychologically. She doesn’t need to touch someone or actually do something (unless it helps move the manipulation), but she mostly just has to say the rights words and play the right cards by playing the others’ weaknesses and desires in order to do what she wants or needs. Hawk Moth on the other hand just uses the emotions already played out (mostly by teenagers) and use them as puppets who has free will to do whatever they want and accomplish their desires before trying to accomplish Hawk Moth’s desires. Now in terms of Emilie probably a good person, my idea for why Emilie didn’t allow Adrien to go to school and socialize is because of risk of kidnapping and danger. Both the Agreste and the Graham de Vanily are influential and rich families that could have lots of enemies, and could play out their human hearts by kidnapping an innocent child and hold them for ransom. Emilie is probably worried something like that could happen and force Adrien to live in isolation. She also probably knows that being the son of a famous fashion designer and actress could draw in gold diggers and fake friends, so she had Adrien be friends with someone whose on the same society level as him because in her eyes, they’re equals and his friends wouldn’t have a reason to use Adrien (but it’s still flawed as they could use Adrien to meet either of his famous relatives). Now it doesn’t make Emilie’s actions right entirely, but it would explain it and show her as both a human who made mistakes and a good mother whose trying to protect her child through the circumstances they have. But I would like Emilie to be the next main antagonist because 1) it’s getting tiring to have Gabriel as the main antagonist and I think it’s time for a new one, and 2) I think Emilie would be a better villain than Gabriel because right now she seems to come off as more dangerous.

I really like this theory, and it’d honestly be such an interesting twist to the show. I find it hard to believe that Emilie let Adrien be treated the way he was if she was the angel he described her as. I just can’t see the woman Adrien described letting him live like that. But if Emilie was manipulative, it’d make sense. It’d also be interesting to see how that kind of conditioning and manipulation effects Adrien, and if it explains some of the behavior that everyone seems to immediately equate to Adrien being a sentimonster. I personally don’t agree with the sentidrien theory, but Wishmaker kinda put a dent in my own theories for why else Adrien’s childhood dream would be whatever his parents wanted. The theories about Emilie’s personality actually made a lot of sense in that respect. If Adrien was controlled from the moment he was born and conditioned emotionally and psychologically to put his parents on a pedestal, then his childhood dream makes total sense. As for Emilie having the personality of a peacock, I think Lila has a similar personality. Maybe Lila isn’t a future Butterfly holder, but a future Peacock holder.

I have a theory: In the episode "feast" when the broken miraculous gives Nathalie dizzy spells, Adrian sadly says "my mother used to have dizzy spells". Plus, when Gabriel talks about the Wish with the 2 miraculous, he always talks about their "past mistake". My theory is that Emilie might of used the peacock miraculous. I think Adrien, by far, is one of the most interesting characters there is. He has so much depth and so much potential. And i also thought the same about Chloe in either season 2 or 3 (i don’t remember which), where she was showing her hard past and how she truly felt. I honestly think it’s sad they don’t go into his life more. I think it’s too little from his perspective, since the series is about both Marinette and Adrien. This is kinda unrelated: I also think Marinette is partly interesting, we do get a lot of insight of her personality and life already. But her obsessive/creepy crush, strong emotions (she has a tendency to misunderstand and react strongly to things) and insecurities are kind of interesting (at least i think so), because i kinda wonder where they come from. Even though it could be a writing thing, and probably kinda weird for her considering she has a loving family and a nice background. But it shows she has flaws, and going into those would also make the story kinda interesting on Marinettes side as well. This is what i personally think😄

So I also observed Emilies side of the family, the Graham de Vanily, which I researched and it meant “Gray house of fake” so clearly the show is trying to hint us about their fake personalities. You can also notice their fakeness and sneakiness. You can notice those personality traits in the episode of “Felix” when Felix stole Gabriel’s ring. We could also tell how much “hatred” Amelie had towards Gabriel after her mentioning the two rings. So you can also tell that they are very determined and won’t give up until they get what they want which adds up to all the theories in this video. Adrien seems to be the only one in his family (which we know about) that seems to be quite pleasant. It clearly means Adrien most likely got this from Gabriel instead of Emilie. Otherwise he would have most likely ended up like Felix

OMG I Just remembered something! When Ladybug first see the photo of Emilie on Adrien's computer in his room, they both say in unison "she's got your eyes". I understood that coming from Ladybug/Marinette as Adrien does have the same eye color as Emilie in the photo but always thought this was a really weird comment from Adrien as Emilie's eyes don't look similar to ladybugs at all. Mari clearly has blue eyes and aren't similar in shape either. THEORY:- 1. I don't think Adrien is a sentimoster. Because when Chat Blanc destroyed Paris. The amok kept in a object will destroyed too and Adrien/Chat Blanc will disappear too. I'm pretty sure that Gabriel mentioned that Adrien stopped being allowed to go out to school because Emilie "died". Gabriel said that since he lost Emilie, he couldn't afford to lose Adrien too. So he made a promise to Emilie that he would protect their son. Which that led to keeping Adrien from going outside the house to be safe supposedly. I still think that there is something shady about Emilie but she isn't the reason he wasn't allowed to go out.

So most likely he was homeschooled all his life but Gabriel became more restrictive and overprotective once Emilie "passed away".

I could see her fighting him every step of the way when it came to Gabriel but wound up in a similar way that Natalie did. I don’t think Gabriel became evil right when emelie died or earlier but the more he used the miraculous. Emelie used her peacock miraculous for good reasons but got sicker a d sicker. I think the pictures reveal a lot. Adrien always smiles with his mom. He is never sad or angry when he talks about her. He is always happy in his pictures of his mom. With Gabriel, he is depressed. I think there is more going on here. Maybe Adrien matured early and made the decision to be who his parents wanted to be despite objections from his mom or dad. Maybe if Gabriel was obsessed with power as his fashion industry grew and it gradually increased the more they used the miraculous. I think she falls in the middle. I may be looking too much into it, but as I was rewatching season 1 "Simon Says", there is the Ladrien scene everyone knows about, Ladybug and Adrien look at Emily's photo and they both say "She's got your eyes" at the same time. It makes sense for Ladybug to say it because to her eyes Adrien and Emily both have GREEN eyes. But what does it mean for Adrien to say it? Well, after Wishmaker we did see that he remembers his mother with BLUE eyes, maybe that's how he always sees her even in pictures? That would be a good explanation as to why he said that Emily has Ladybug's eyes, because they would both have BLUE eyes in Adrien's mind. This would obviously be a possibility in the whole Adrien being a sentimonster theory. I know it is a very small detail that could have other meanings, but I found it really interesting rewatching season 1 after seeing Wishmaker, what do you think?

Nice video! To me Emile gives me Rose Quartz, she’s a mystery that has a dark past which surrounds her son, just like rose had with Steven. They are both deemed “dead” but they aren’t really gone, as Rose is in Steven and Emile is in the coffin. Also Rose was pink diamond which was the biggest mystery in the show about who killed pink. I feel Emile will have something similar but the question is who’s fault is it that she’s in the coffin? I honestly think she’s the final boss and Gabriel is just the mini one. The fact that we know nothing of Emile seems suspicious. Also felix and Emile’s twin sister seemed suspicious too, like they know something about the miraculous.

I think Natalie would make more sense as a sentimonster than Adrien. She is seen as unbelievably loyal and devoted to Gabriel without a clear motive of why, even going so far to put herself in huge danger. She acts very robotically and I dont believe she is ever seen doing things that are not being ordered by Gabriel. Many fans (including myself) have speculated she could be in love with Gabriel, but her actions are just completing orders. Even Adrien's "I just want to be what my parents want" is a logical sentiment, and I can excuse this desire. Many individuals including myself, really wanted to make their parents proud when they were young. I do not see Adrien's wish in Wishmaker as solid evidence for the sentimonster theory. Okay so this is far out but here it goes. Supposed Emilie was a former Ladybug and she is the one Master Fu was talking about when he said he only got it wrong once. She could have had a personality could have been devastating for the creation miraculous because she always used it for herself. So Master Fu took it back. Maybe after growing up she decided to go in search of the Ladybug miraculous but ended up finding the lost Butterfly and Peacock miraculous instead. What if... Emilie and Gabriel where out in Tibet secretly 15 years ago (possibly shooting/ researching a movie). They find the miraculous, but the peacock is broken. This weakens the holder, eventually causing them to become sick and even die. As we see from references and the clip in Wishmaker, Adrien remembers his father was always the more caring type (green eyes not greyish blue). What if for some reason or another Gabriel became ill himself and died, driving Emilie mad with grief (it seems to be a theme with these two). She used the peacock miraculous to create an ongoing sentimonster and that is the Gabriel Agrest we have always known, also causing her sudden coma. The objects possessed may even be the rings/ Emilie's ring we see Gabriel obsessed with throughout the show. This should also explain why Gabeil is so different before and after her disappearance, because he is only a SHADOW of the old persona. But also under the control of Emilie's grieving subconscious, explaining why he is such a monster, loyal to her despite who he becomes, unable to begin the grieving process because he himself does not have permission to do so. This theory also doesnt exclude the idea of adrien being a) a sentimonster or b) half sentimonster half human (depending on if Gabriel died 15 years ago or more recently). Possibly also explaining why Adreins past is so mysterious and complex (and controlled), even to himself.

I think everything is possible and I don't want to jump to any conclusions as I like to be surprised and give everyone the benefit of the doubt BUT... I remember in some episodes when Adrien reminisced his mom, talking to Plagg, he said that he misses how happy she would make his father and also when he caught up on the signals that Nathalie and Gabriel are getting closer he said he wouldn't mind him moving on with Nathalie if she would make him happy again. So I think that wheter Emelie is who she is made out to be or not that Adrien is blinded by the fact that his mom brought out the best of his father and he wants that side of him back. Thats why I think both theories could be possible. Maybe Emelie is evil and Adrien chooses to remember the good things and the image of his happy, caring father (which I think is what he truely desires) or she can be as innocent as described but he has accepted his mothers death and moved on and again just wishes the old Gabriel back. honestly i feel like this is just one more story in the “women are evil and to blame for everything” narrative. Emilie might have been bad but gabriel made his own choices and has gone VERY far, much farther than she ever went. I hadn't considered this theory before! You make some good points. But ultimately, I have trouble buying into it for one important reason: Unless we're introduced to a new and extremely powerful type of magic, there a near zero chance that Emilie will ever wake up. Gabriel has already squandered his chance to use time travel to bring her back, so the only way to revive her is presently to combine the ladybug and cat miraculouses, which will trigger the end of the world and force Bunnyx to intervene and undo Gabriel's wish. Under these circumstances, I fail to see a way in which Emilie could ever reenter the show, except in flashbacks. Now, her personality in those flashbacks is another thing to consider, but we do have to take into account the video she left for Natalie (I have no idea if that episode was out when this video was posted). In it, she specifically references Gabriel's tendency to go too far, which we've seen in the show. It hints that perhaps she had been buffering him all these years and preventing him from acting on his worst instincts. Additionally, I think it's understandable (but still unhealthy) that Emilie would agree to keep Adrien away from the outside world if the sentimoster theory is correct (and based on the newest episodes, I'm confident that it is). If Emilie knew that her son was not a natural human, she would have reason to worry that others in the wider would would seek him out to kill him on the assumption that he was dangerous. Therefore, in order to keep the son that she sacrificed her health to create safe, she would need to keep him away from the public. That's not to say that this theory isn't incredibly interesting. I just don't think it's relevant at the current point in the story.

While I would like to say Emilie is the secret villian in the show, I just don't see it happening. I feel that it would be devesting to find that both of Adrien's parents are abusive. If Emilie were to ever come back, Adrien would NEED a parent who is understanding and kind. We also have to remember that technically this show is targeted towards younger audiences. It would be too deep of a subject for younger kids to experience/understand. The creators know that they can't write things too intense. It would make a cool plot twist though! AS for who I think could be a senti-monster in the show, Adrien AND Felix are my best guesses. The only place I think the amok could be is the twin rings. We have never seen an amok go into two things before, so what if there was actually two amoks? That's why Adrien and Felix look so similar. It's not normal for cousins to look identical. Lets say they were human, they only way they could be completely identical like that was if Felix's father was Gabriel's identical twin. The odds of that seem unlikely. I think that Emilie started to create Adrien but somewhere in the process she messed up and created a second senti-monster(Felix) Who was the opposite on Adrien. We all know that Felix is mischievous and that Adrien is the opposite. I have more proof but i don't want to be typing for an hour lol

Or Emilie faked a pregnancy, convinced her sister Amelie over once she gave birth to Felix (or maybe even traveled to see Amelie), either convinced Amelie to leave her alone with baby Felix long enough to create a Sentimonster duplicate or waited until Amelie was asleep (maybe even drugging her) and then did one of two things: Emilie then swapped the Sentimonster for Felix and hid Felix until her sister left or just hid the Sentimonster until after Amelie left and then claim that she gave birth. Warning: Long post ahead I know that this is a weird take but you mentioned in the video that Emily and Gabriel were probably looking for something in Tibet and perhaps stumbled upon the Peacock and Butterfly miraculouses and what they might have been looking for was possibly found. Well I do remember (I don't watch that much MLB so please correct me if I'm wrong) that the book about the Miraculous holders were in the Agreste's possession, so here's my weird theory: Maybe they were looking for two specific Miraculouses, and those are not the peacock and butterfly but the ladybug and cat miraculouses. Think about it, what are the powers of the Ladybug miraculous? the power of creation. and what about the black cat miraculous? the power of destruction. Now look at gabriel and emily. Gabriel is a fashion designer, infact he is marinette's idol, and for obvious reason he has the abilty to create, so my guess is he was to take possession of the ladybug miraculous. Whereas Emily, as i've gathered from the vid, has some sort of chaotic personality underneath the innocent facade, now who does that remind you of.... aside from Lila (I mean everyone who's watching the show knows this but not the people in the show)? though not chaotically bad in a sense, Adrien kind of acts somewhat chaotic (albeit flirty) when he's chat noir (though yes I know that it is to compensate to how he wants to act when he's adrien). also in the chat noir video, black means power and sophistication. the other meaning of the color black, if we're talking about Emily, can also be applied in this scenario, MYSTERY. Aside from the accounts that we see sprinkled throughout the show we know nothing much about Emily's other side, so mystery is a HUGE check there. So, there is a possibility that Emily Agreste was supposed to take the Black Cat Miraculous. but since they couldn't find it, they opted to just use the two miraculouses that they found. also from the shanghai special, gabriel mentioned that they worked on this thing for 15 years, so that could explain the existence of the underground lair and why they had the book and why emily is in a coma (?) from the overusage of the damaged peacock miraculous, she was searching. the goal he and emily were searching for had been staring at us right in the face, it's the Ladybug and Black Cat miraculouses, and now I definitely feel like they were not going to use the ladybug and cat miraculous for saving the world, no. they were going to use it to grant a wish, and we all know that there will be dire consequences. We know that Gabriel wanted to use the wish to revive Emily, but before that.... what was that wish supposed to be?
