Been watching your dads videos for several years. Stumbled across yours and glad I did. You remind me very much of daughter. Personality, common sense, a love of the outdoors, and a strong work ethic. You’ll do fine in life. Keep spending time with your dad (and mom) outdoors as time flies by all too fast. During our toughest portages, my daughter just smiles and says “making memories dad”. Keep making your memories.

Finally! A video of a camping trip that actually depicts what it's really like to go camping. Quiet, serine, and enjoyable. Most videos on camping seem to want to tell everyone about all the fancy gadgets available, what gear you need to take, or all of the pitfalls related to camping (strange noises at night, creepy critters roaming around, etc.) This video reminds me of all the camping trips my wife and I have gone on throughout our 42+ yrs. together (and there's been many by way of backpack, motorcycle, canoe, truck, tent or travel trailer) No other campers around, on the bank of a lake or stream, cooking over an open fire, sitting around the camp enjoying the quiet without electronic devices, watching the dog explore the surroundings, and fishing,swimming, or canoeing in the water. I cold almost smell the meals being cooked. Loved the whole thing. ^5

Thank you for a late summer/fall video mid-winter. I love that you have inherited your dad’s love for the wilderness. Canoeing, camping, fishing and his huge appetite.
