So. I am a 66 year old woman who had breast cancer in May of 2016. I have survived and am considered "cured." I keep watching youtube videos because I really don't believe I am cured forever. I found your vlog this way. Oh Emily. You are so much more than your cancer. I think you know that. You are smart, funny, and a huge life force. I know that life would be so different for you and Aisha if this despicable disease hadn't attacked you. Keep fighting, my sweetie. Just keep fighting. You are an amazing, lovely woman. xoxoox

I am a 71 year old breast cancer survivor who was diagnosed in 1999. I don't constantly fear reoccurrence bc I changed my whole way of life after my diagnosis. What I fear is my mental health problems (PTSD and SAD being two examples) undermining my cancer prevention lifestyle! So that's my focus: what do I need to DO, daily, to strengthen my immune system, as much as is possible for me on any given day?!

If only I could have one hour to sit and chat with such a captivating young woman. Emily was indeed a fierce warrior. It astounds me how such a young person could be so brave and wise, with unrelenting hope, who embraced her hardship day after day with a smile. It is apparent that Emily saw the truth in people; she saw their hearts. You can tell by the way she loved her beloved, Aisha. I am 48 now and find myself sharing a world with so many young people who are so entitled and self involved (no offense intended). I hope that Emily is in paradise driving her dream car with the sun streaming on her face and bellowing with joy that vast, untamed, wild and big, infectious laugh. If only I could sit with her and tell her that her love for life and people and hope fills my heart to overflowing. I never met you and yet my heart breaks because of this. I believe Emily vlogged because it may have been therapeutic for her. She had no idea, no conception whatsoever of the impact she had on other people. If only.....

Old Christian lady here posting :-). I'm almost 56 years old and I have to tell you guys that you two have taught me some things I never knew. Emily, as I've been binge watching your older videos you have shown me what true bravery is and definitely some new ideas on working out! Aisha, to me your kindness and compassion shine in your eyes and beautiful smile! However, the greatest gifts you both have are love and genuineness! All the traits; except the swearing :-) are what keeps me very engaged with your vlogs! Running out of catching up on older videos, so please keep them coming! Prayers and so very sorry about the license situation, Huge Hugs to you both, Janet

Also currently watching from Florida. No vacation though. We're here to spend quality time with my father-in-law who has terminal cancer. First time we've seen him in several months. He's so thin and weak. Emily, he understands about losing a human privilege or right. He's ridden motorcycles for 60 years but he had to sell his due to being too weak. He's one of the best people I've ever known and it's hard to see him suffer and slowly lose his independence. Sending my prayers and good vibes your way! You may not be able to drive but you are encouraging thousands with your strength and positivity!

I know how you feel about the driving . I don’t have cancer but I have uncontrolled Epilepsy . I was diagnosed at 10, but I finally made it to almost 2 years free of seizures until the age of 18. And again almost made it 2 years at 20 and had another seizure. Then at the age of 22 when I was going to sign the papers my seizures went completely out of control having over 147 seizures a day. So yeah I feel you . It’s worse for you in the respect of you did have your licence whereas I have never managed to learn so I guess you can’t miss something you’ve never had . But it sucks having to work around public transport and relying on other people . Keep fighting you’re doing great x

I became wheelchair bound when I was 18 and I have always loved driving. I passed my test back then and have always had a car since then and driving is not just a means to get from A to B, it’s what I didn’t on nights when I couldn’t sleep, when I was stressed or upset and How I got to training and competitions. My son also has a physical disability so we’ve always had Motability vehicles, but since he’s gone to uni; I can’t drive anywhere unless I have someone who can load my powerchair in and out of the car. It meant I also always had people know exactly where I was or was going and that frustrated me, as I am an impulsive person. But I have had to hand my car back in February, because I need to get a new powerchair as I need a higher spec chair and you can’t get a car and a wheelchair on Motability, so for the first time in 25yrs; I no longer have a car. I miss driving so much, but I need the chair more than the car, as there are alternatives forms of transport for me; but if my chair isn’t to the spec I need, I can’t go anywhere anyway; because the pain, spasms and dislocations keep me at home. I’m at peace I with this decision, but my mum is extremely sad about it; so I completely can relate to how it feels to have your taken away from you. I should say, my licence was removed for 2.5yrs due to pain overload seizures and it really hurts

Thank you for sharing your journey. My Pop has lung cancer that spread to the brain. Initially they removed the first brain tumour (he had lost use in his left side, slurred his speech and was more aggressive and irritable) and gave us years. A couple of weeks later they gave us 4 to 6 months as they found more. He did radiation and is on a trial treatment. It has been about 5 months since they gave us upto 6 months for him, he is well and almost has complete control of his left side. He will never be 'cured' of cancer and it is terminal, but thank you for showing me life with terminal cancer isn't all doom and gloom and illness. It can be fulfilling still. I wish you luck in your fight and send lots of love & light from Aus.

Emily says so many hilarious things under her breath that crack me up! I also loved the exchange starting about 10:25 where Emily tells Aisha that she’s a really good driver - her tone of voice and her facial expressions to contrast what she was saying are freaking hilarious!
