Being exposed to nasty chemicals at my job, I developed 9 tumors, (thyroid, kidney, liver, ovaries). After multiple surgeries and loads of treatment, (now clear), I gained 125 pounds. Yes, I'm an embarrassing, repulsive, wobbling marshmallow. It was due to a combination of no thyroid, being in so much pain I was lazy (and slept), and continuing to eat my normal (shit) diet. Now I have to get this weight off or its going to take me down. I feel like I have this huge mountain to climb and sometimes it seems impossible and I want to give up. But watching you and your challenges gives me such motivation! Your spirit, positivity, strength, and fight is absolutely spellbinding and contagious. I feel like such a twit complaining when you're this solid, determined powerhouse! Who the hell am I to complain? Thank you for being you. You're an example for all of us. I'm so sorry what you're going through, know everyday and every night I'm thinking of you and really praying for your full recovery. I'm not just saying that, I really am. I've never been so emotionally invested to anyone online, and you have me hook, line and sinker! God bless. PS: There's nothing I'd rather see than you beating this thing, and rising to the absolute top, being more of an inspiration to millions! I have 100% confidence in you! If anyone can do it, by God, it's you. Tear it up girl! PSS: I f'ng HATE you cancer , you're a bitch ass punk!!

Throwing out a different perspective, having lost a loved one , I wore their ring on a chain around my neck for months. It helped me when I was hurting to reach up and touch the ring. Sort of a tangible reminder of all the love we shared. On a lighter note, Aisha is so petite behind the steering wheel. It’s adorable.

Me and my husband did the same thing, we booked the wedding straight after my diagnosis and 4 months after my lung cancer op we got married and it's the best thing we ever did, we are so happy. I wish you both all the happiness in the world, You were made for each other 💕💍

This is an addendum to my previous text .....my brother was diagnosed with AIDS@ 19 he did not die till we were 32. HE JUST WOULDN'T GIVE I, He refused to give into it, and he constantly worked out he was IN excellent shape. ..... but government gave him medication for his thrush,he was allergic AND. He's gone now,but............... we carry him with us.! Love to you both!

Thankfully she is still with us but her Brian injury has meant that I feel as though I’m grieving for someone who is still here, and far too often I find myself in the midst of despair and sadness. As a fairly recent cancer victim, I can echo Alisha's thoughts. In the early days I told my partner that I think it's easier to have the cancer than be the partner of a sufferer. Others at my support group have said similar. I miss the pair of them and hope that Aisha is doing ok.

Hi Emily, I just started working at a company that actually makes and distributes chemotherapy and pain medication all over the UK and we send to the royal Marsden everyday. I know that's prob not very interesting but when I see the sheer amount of people that require lifesaving treatment everyday it really puts life Into perspective for me. Just be careful when they say no hair loss - sometimes what they're not telling you is the patches will be so large that shaving it all off is for some, the better option to patchiness. Stay strong, you are an inspiration x

Forgive me if this is a stupid question but why did you have to go into the hospital for a coordinator to tell you that. Wouldn't a POA be discussed with your medical team, doctors and nurses? Or did I miss that video? I was mad that she made you guys take the train and didnt even get to talk to a doctor, why didnt she just call you with that? Either way, I am PRAYING that this works. If someone told me I would be emotionally invested to a stranger over a youtube channel, I would have called them a loon!

Hallelujah! That IS good news! Very happy for you! You know we will be praying for you, and sending you all sorts of best wishes. I know two hours IS a lot in an MRI, but you CAN DO IT! Just keep reminding yourself that it is a small price to pay on your part, so that the docs can do what they need to do properly. This.....you CAN DO! I believe Wed is the day PeeWee Toms goes in for his surgery , if I am not mistaken. It will be a day filled with prayer for both of you! (Emily, I always keep Aisha in my prayers too. She also has all of our support, to hopefully lift her up!). On a lighter note....I have to say AGAIN, I still do love that jacket of yours Emily! :) You are SO correct, that Aisha always looks so gorgeous, especially when she is dressed for work or going out! I really think she has great taste, with the exception of her Florida gold scissors! Just joking, they're great. Emily, I love your dedication to what you do! You have given me inspiration to get to the gym 3x/week. My medical team doesn't want me going more than that for now. I am disabled, and was sick and tired, of feeling sick and tired! I have also started a new nutrition journey, guided by a nutritionist within my team. I can feel an improvement, and it's only been about 6 weeks. I simply have a hard time eating enough. Absolutely, sh**** appetite. (Meds and pain and crap). Just wanted you to know that you are an inspiration, and you are giving me a kick in the a**, to push on! THANKS LADIES!!! YOU ARE SIMPLY LOVELY!
