My four boys LOVE love savoury breakfast muffins! Have you ever tried them with chickpea flour instead of egg?! There's still protein in them but also calcium, fiber, and iron! SUper delish!

I adore our yum boxes. Bit pricy, we bought it as a Christmas present for our sons first Christmas as he got so much. But he's just turned 4 and it's still going strong never leaked been dropped all over and it looks new. It also means I've always sent my son to preschool with the healthiest lunches and not fallen in to the sandwich and crisps lunch habit. Couldn't recommend enough!!

Hi Emily, I just purchased my eldest a Yumbox. Aren’t they the best ever. I bought the cooler bag that goes with it and it has the best ice pack. It kept Will’s food cool all day. I’m also a mum of three and finding snack and lunch ideas is getting harder and harder.

I love these ideas and how you suggested small changes just in case, because not all kids are the same as far as preferences. My daughter loves rice, pasta, salty meats and veggies and yogurt but doesn't care for chicken or bananas as much. Funny! We love to use small containers in her lunch box.

Great ideas :-) I use lunch boxes similar to the first one you showed and on the bottom layer I use silicone muffin holders, to give it a bento style ( the sandwich compartment on top keeps them in place) I usually do, ham and tomato quesadillas instead of sandwiches then in the muffin trays I do, grapes, sliced cucumber and carrot, pretzels and ham or cut up sausages, with an apple and a yogurt in the two bigger side compartments. I love seeing what other people put in theirs

I have a thermos food flask for my kids, I def recommend them, for example if you wanted to give ur kids some hot pasta you could put in some hot water let it sit put the water out then put in the pasta and it will stay warm until lunch time :)

I've done that and I thought her food would stay warm but my husband and I were at her school for a sing a long on the last day before the holiday and I opened her thermos and her food was not war. Honestly, she has not been eating her food even if I do cute sandwiches. she's just 3 and I'm running out of ideas LOL. could there just be an issue with her thermos. I actually boil water and let it sit in the thermos while she's eating breakfast and I do her hair and then I dump it and immediately put her food inside that I've heated up

Lady B oh no, maybe your thermos isn’t a very high quality one, my old thermos I had didn’t keep things warm for even 30 mins! Also if your child doesn’t really like sandwiches, what I do with my little one is cut them up into cute shapes then she would eat them 😂
