1) fixed structural problems 2) respectful of family's belongings and privacy 3) recycled!!! 4) matched parents' desired styles 5) functional design, tailored to the space (i.e. length of curtains over heater; you thought of everything) 6) just freakin' stylish and pretty Too many modern rooms are bleached white and sterile looking, in my opinion. Of course, it's a trend and like any art form, people will either like or dislike. You did an excellent job of creating something neutral enough to appeal to different tastes while also adding personality and whimsy to the room. I think the elements are both functional and cohesive, and beautiful. Excellent job.

I completely LOST IT when the old AC unit fell out 😂😂 this room looks amazing! The curtains are absolutely perfect and I love the blue/yellow palette. You were so thoughtful in making sure the curtains were functional and not too long. Have a happy birthday 🎉

I’m sad to hear you get so much unnecessary ugliness. The beauty of any form of art is that it’s different. Even if the vibe fits a neat box of some sort, every persons creation is unique to them. I am absolutely inspired, impressed in awe, and just damn happy to see someone your age just doing what your soul cries for! Your drive and mind is gorgeous!! Keep these coming because it’s so easy to lose this creative part of who we all have inside as you get older and you’ve really helped light that flame in me again. Sometimes, with KZbin renovations, the rooms look so styled that you’re afraid to sit on anything, you know? But, your room looks pulled together but approachable. Ok I have several things I want to say. First of all this is not what I would ever do for my house. You have done an outstanding job of making it look like a welcoming tropical space. I would love to stay in this room! You are incredibly talented and I appreciate how you put rooms together. The spaces feel welcoming. I LOVE the way this turned out! All the pops of gold & yellow are on point. I’m sorry you had rude comments. Some people don’t know how to just scroll on if they don’t care for something. The only suggestion I have is consider adding a luggage rack to bottom of closet so guests can sit their suitcase on it. Great job and your parents’ reactions were great! They were really impressed. 💛

I love the curtains. They are extremely cohesive to the rest of the room, especially matching the yellow from the wallpaper, and picture frames. I think it gives the room a wonderful pop of color and really brightens it up. Overall you guys did an amazing job and I adore how it came out!

Your designs are absolutely incredible. For the open closet I would consider putting a small fold out to built in luggage stand in there to fill out the lower space and add some shelves below for shoes or luggage since it’s a guest room

I LOVE the yellow accents, including the curtains, which work so well with blue. I wonder about a future insulation of a closet door? I recognize you had limitations; however, a mirrored door can further enlarge the space. Additionally, in one of my guest rooms I need to provide some kind of full length mirror for guests. Currently my DIL uses my mirror in the living room.
