Maybe this will help your wife like it better or at least not have a negative view of it. This is Eminem's alter ego Slim Shady. Eminem (aka Marshall Bruce Mathers III) is a real person with emotions. So when he raps about this kind of stuff in his music it is his THERAPY. It helps him vent and keep his cool bc if not he would do a lot of bad things. This keeps him from doing bad things bc he vents about it in his music. He had a crazy childhood and it was def rough so he has some emotional issues and always has. His music allows him to deal with them in a healthy way. Kinda like a diary would for some ppl. Don't take it seriously bc if you do you won't like the best parts of Eminem. You have to relate with his life to understand these type of songs. Not everyone deals with their emotions the same way and not everyone has been thru the stuff he's been thru so looking at it from the point of view that this is a healthy outlet for him to vent may help her come to at least a more understanding reaction of these type of songs.
